when i opened my eyes and saw nothing but darkness i already figured we were inside his cocoon. i shifted sliding my arms up to find his head. i was laying on my back and there was weight on me.

i blushed when i felt his head on my chest using my boobs as pillows. i was about to wake him up but he mumbled out my name making me smile.

i slid my fingers through his short hair. he grunted softly moving his head around until it found rest in my neck. his hands wrapped around me and he rolled over pulling me with him.

he nuzzled my neck and i couldnt help but giggle. i felt his eye lashes flutter against my skin.

"suki?" he mumbled tiredly.

i smiled, "good morning sleepy head." i joked and he just breathed out relaxing back onto me.

"gaara you have to let go of me." i told him as i ran my fingers through his hair.

"no i dont." he sounded confident.

"fine would you rather pee on the bed?" i asked and he stiffened.

the wall behind me opened and he let me go, "hurry up, i dont want to get up yet." he ordered rolling over.

i rolled my eyes and went the bathroom. i brushed my teeth then made my way back to the bed. i set my hand on the sand, i slid a finger across it then yelped slightly

the sand opened up, "i smell blood." his eyes narrowed on my finger.

my lip quivered at the blood running down my finger, "gaara it hurts." i wasnt one to like pain.

he slid off the bed and his sand wrapped around both of us. he grabbed my hand and i felt his mouth wrap around my finger sucking gently.

i felt embarrasssed for some reason. i didnt think he would suck it... a knocking on the door interupted us, he growled slightly but let go of my hand.

i gasped when his arms wrapped around pulling me to his body, "what?!" he snarled out angrily.

i felt his sand tighten holding me closer, "you have work kasakage. " it was a males voice. i was surprised, temari usually told him this stuff.

"in a moment." he snapped and we heard the footsteps retreat.

"where is temari?" i needed to get clothes from her and what not.

i heard him sniff, "she is avoiding me." he said in his normal mono tone.

i tilted my head to the side, "why?"

he glanced down at me, "she is on her period and Shukaku doesnt like her blood. it smells gross." my face flushed at the thought.

"you can smell period blood? thats gross." i looked away. when i have my period he is going smell it?! ewww.

he burrowed his eyes together, "why are you worried?" his thumb ran over my eyebrows to smooth them.

i shook my head burying it into his chest, "gaara will you hold me?" i asked him hesitantly.

he has held me as we slept but he has never hugged or been hugged. he stiffened before lowering his face into my hair and wrapped his arms tighter around me.

i sighed softly into his chest, " Shukaku said he told you why i cant sleep... and that he... wants you." he muttered sending shivers down my spine.

i nuzzled his muscular chest, "you should go to work..." i told him as i pulled away.

he tightened his grip, "you want me to go? we have just got... closer." he looked confused.
