so many of u guessed what's happening I'm sorry for being this predictable ://

"Becca, you have to tell us what happened." I softly speak.
"The phone call... It's Ashton. Well it wasn't him, it was about him." She explains, trying to stop her crying. "He got in a really bad accident, Grace. We have to go to the hospital."
"Wh-what?" I mutter to myself.
"Grace, please. We have to go. Right now." She begs.
"O-okay. Call mum and tell her to meet us there." I tell her and she goes off to do so.
Michael's standing there in shock and I sigh.
"Babe, Bec and I are gonna go, okay? I'll see you as soon as possible." I mumble.
He nods, "Let me know when you find out more about what happened okay?"
"I will. I love you." I weakly smile.
He smiles back before quickly kissing my lips, "I love you too."
Michael quickly leaves and I sigh, nervous to see what's happened with Ashton.
"Okay, let's go." Becca says.
We both head to the car and we get to the hospital as fast as we can.
-
"He's sleeping, shh." Becca says as our mum enters the hospital room.
He was unconscious after the accident, he woke up, but because it is late, he told them he was tired and we have to wake him up within a certain time, just in case.
"Oh god, my baby." She mumbles, trying to hold in tears.
Ashton's condition right now isn't the best, we haven't got the full story yet.
A groan comes from Ashton and we all look over to him.
"Where am I?" He asks, looking panicked, "What's going on?"
He looks down at his arms, noticing the cuts and bruises all along them, "Where did these come from?"
We don't reply, we call a doctor into the room, hopefully they'll tell us what's going on.
"Ashton, I'm going to start by asking you a few questions." The doctor says.
"Okay..." Ashton replies, giving him a weird look.
"Who sitting there." The doctor asks, pointing to me.
"That's Grace." He tells him.
"Who's next to her?" He questions, pointing to Bec.
"Becca." He says, a confused look on his face, "Beside her is my mum."
"Okay, do you remember what happened for you to end up here?" He asks Ashton.
He shakes his head, "I-I don't know."
"What's the last thing you remember?" The doctor asks.
"This morning, when I left the house to go get lunch or something. I remember saying goodbye to Grace and Becca earlier today, but I don't know what happened after that." Ashton mumbles.
"Do any of you know what might have happened?" The doctor asks us.
Becca and my mum both look at me and I weekly nod.
"He was angry, like really angry. He was so furious that he couldn't stand being around me, so he left." I explain.
"What? That would never happen, Grace." Ashton says.
"It did happen, Ash." Becca adds.
"Why was he so angry?" The doctor asks.
Ashton's staring at me wanting to know the answer, but I can't bring myself to say it.
He doesn't know, again.
Mine and Michael's secret is still a secret.
"I really can't say it right now." I mumble.
"Why not?" Ashton asks.
"I-I can't." I mutter.
Becca puts her arm around me and I hide my face in the crook of her neck.
"W-what? Grace? I'm sorry." Ashton mumbles.
"Okay, well I'll tell you what happened with Ashton, in the accident." The doctor says. "To start, Ashton was speeding way over the limit. He was also not wearing his seatbelt, so since he wasn't paying attention to the road and focusing more on why he was mad, he hit the car in front of him and flew forward hitting his head, causing him not remembering the few hours before the accident. As you can see he also, has some cuts and bruises. Due to how angry he was, he wasn't paying much attention to driving, causing the accident."
"Shit." Ashton mumbles.
Basically, Ashton's an idiot, but I still feel horrible.
"I have a horrible headache. Is that bad? Am I going to be okay?" Ashton panics.
The doctor chuckles, "You'll be fine, I'll have some pain killers sent in."
He gets up and leaves, leaving us all in an awkward silence.
"Will anybody tell me what happened to make me end up like this?" Ashton asks.
Bec and mum both look at me, not knowing what to do.
"I- I can't." I choke out, quickly rushing out of the room.
"Wait, Grace!" Bec calls, rushing after me.
"What?"
"You can't go back to keeping secrets. You have to tell him." She quietly says.
"I know. I know that but I saw how he reacted and I don't want it to happen again. He hated me, Bec. He fucking hated me and I can't have my own brother hate me." I cry.
"I'm so sorry." She whispers, pulling me into a hug.
"I should probably call Michael. I'm gonna go on a walk, okay?" I tell her, trying my best to stop my tears.
"It's okay, go ahead, I'll go talk to Ashton a bit more." She says, letting me walk off.
I pull my phone from my pocket, quickly calling Michael.
"Hey, babe, is everything okay? Is he okay?" Michael questions as soon as he picks up.
"Ashton will be fine, it's just, uh-"
"What's wrong? Are you okay? Do you need me? We can talk to Ashton together-"
"No, we can't. He doesn't know." I whisper.
"What? We just told him-"
"He doesn't remember." I interrupt.
"How? What happened to him?"
I sigh, "In the accident, he just can't remember what happened today."
"Oh my god, so we have to go through telling him again?" He asks.
"I don't know if I want to tell him again. I don't want to go through that again." I mumble.
"Babe, we've got to. At least we know what to expect now." He lightly chuckles.
"So, you're saying you want to tell him, even though for months you would refuse to?"
"Yes, because I love you and I think he should know, we saw how he reacted when we told him how long it's been. If we wait longer, it'll be just as bad."
I sigh, "Okay, I get it. We'll tell him."
"Good. I love you, we'll be okay."
"Yea, it'll be fine. I love you, Michael, so much."
