The first picture I see is of my parents marriage. They were so young and happy thenI think to myself. The photo under that was of my birth and next to that was a photo of my brothers birth. December 19, 2008. Then right after the baby pictures is my fathers grave.'Robert Burrgs. 1981-2010. He was a good father and husband. R.I.P' I noticed a gray cancer ribben upon his grave. My father died of brain cancer when I was eleven and my brother was two...I skip ahead a couple of pages full of birthday photos and other small things. Then I come across pictures of me at track meets and in karate with my brother. A smile comes across my face at the sweet memories.

L comes crashing in the door and yells "They are out earlier than normal today. Come on we gotta go!" He grabs the bag of supplies and pulls me out the door. We run down the road, avoiding any of the zombies, and quickly try to get back to the hidout without getting too noticed. Nasty, gut-drooling creatures started to surround us about halfway there. There has to be at least twenty or more of them! There is no way we can get past them! I start to panic alittle. L starts slashing at the zombies and I, not knowing anything better to do, join in too. I get lost in thought after a few minutes. Hey, I'm getting pretty good at this. We'd make quite the team if I do say so myself. He is so kind, I'm glad he found me and took me in. Thats when a zombie grabs my arm and I yelp out in surprise. L turns quickly and stabs it in the brain. Before I can say anything , a zombie from behind grabs L and takes a huge bite out of his shoulder. His eyes grow wide and he cries out in agony before falling to the ground. The other zombies crowd around his fallen body and all at once start ravenously tearing off his flesh and eating it. This distracted the zombies but I just stood there, unable to move. Before the tears that form in my eyes can fall, I turn and run as fast as I can towards what was L's hidout.

A.N. I know this chapter is short, sorry.
