Forgotten Memories

Chapter 10

3rd Person P.O.V. omniscient

Dan, Kat, and Cody:

Dan is the average man. He was a firefighter before the infection broke out. His muscular build and gruffy beard may make him look intimidating now but, his deep green eyes and caring personality tell you otherwise. Kat was the typical cheater and liar. (A.N. I thought there needed to be one of those 'Lori' characters) Her icy blue eyes often hold anger and judgement for others. Even though she isn't a saint, she still 'cares' for her family (even if it is more of a i-don't-want-to-share-anything-with-anyone type of thing...). She is over protective of her family and is not too fond of sharing anything of hers with anyone, people included. She gets jealous quickly whenever someone new might step into the picture. Cody is a spitting image of his father. Even with his fathers looks and personality, he his mothers icy-blue, deceiving eyes. He was aware of his mother's affairs and this made him favor his father over her. He is a very sneaky child, but a child none the less.

Chris, Janessa, and Luce:

Chris is a very muscular man, but he too is very caring of others.He was a psychologist for troubled children and adults before the infection broke out. Janessa is a protective yet forgetful mother. She was overprotective of Luce but sometimes forgot the little things. Luce was born with scoliosis, making the muscles in her legs twisted. She was also born with respritory cance, making it difficult for her to breathe. The doctor gave her maybe twenty years to live and her mother planned to make the best of it. Because of Lucs's disablities; Janessa often blamed herself, right down to her daughters last moments.

Jeremy and Caroline:

Jeremy was an abnormal teen. He was gifted in track and he was exceptionally smart. His sophomore (A.N. Is that a correct year name because I do not know ;_; I think it is though, but sorry if it is not...) year was when he met Caroline and they fell in love with each other. Caroline was the shy girl nobody really noticed. She went to school, got her credits, and that was it; she didn't really stand out to anyone, except of course Jeremy. They both graduated highschool a week before the infection broke out. That same week Jeremy had planned to propose, that was the night of the infection. He escaped with her and later met the rest of the group in the city. Jeremy also was going to propose the night the blue house got overrun, but obviously didn't get the chance. Who knows if he ever will?

Bryan:

Bryan is a classic narssist and grade A jerk. He dropped out of highschool and he couldn't keep a steady job. He was often found wondering the city in search of a job or house. This was when Chris found him; he felt sorry for Bryan and decided to take him in. Bryan lived in Chris' shed and went around the neighborhood mowing lawns. He was with them when the infection broke out; luckily he was allowed to stay with them and then later the others in the group. Chris had tried to help Bryan, and he still is. Bryan isn't a major part of the group, he usually stays by himself and doesn't make many decisions.

Adam:

Adam had out-lived most of the people he knew and cared about. He had lived in an orphanage, so he never really had a family. After he turned 18 and had to move out, he met his wife Marissa. They got married and bought a big blue house together so they could start a family. He had just become a detective. When they found out Marissa was unable to have children, they planted a garden and got some animals in an effort to fill that empty void in their hearts. Adam had started to lose his hearing after being in an explosion, due to this he was considered  'unfit' to work as a detective and was forced to retire. One night Marissa had a heartattack in the middle of the night and Adam wasn't able to hear her, so she died. He claimed that she haunted him at night, so he wandered most nights around his field. This caused him not to sleep alot, giving him the dark bags under his eyes. The night of the infection the rest of the group had stumbled over his house while he was out wandering, he allowed them to stay. His hearing cost him alot in life, including life itself.

Lisa:

Lisa is known to many as the 'nicest lady on Earth.' Mainly because of her personality; she was kind, cared for everyone, and she was quick to do what she thought was best. Before the infection, Lisa was a social worker. She helped as many people as she could. On the day of the infection she was viewing one of the troubled adults from the society groups progress; Bryan. She had just rung the doorbell and Chris came to the door, pulling her into safety. They stayed together and met with the rest of the group later on. The people of the group often look to her for advice and comfort, which she happily gives.
