Colton Haim.
'Eyes bright, uptight, just girls.'
I heard my favorite singer sing softly.
'And she can't be what you need, when she's only 17.'
I quickly sat up and remembered that my alarm was ringing. Okay, okay. I love the 1975, sue me, would ya? They are the best band in the whole world.
I stopped the alarm and rubbed my eyes. I started adjusting to the brightness coming from the window in my room.
'6:54'
Shit.
School started at 8:00. I bit my lower lip and stood up. I grabbed my towel and took a warm shower.
I picked out a casual outfit. I didn't feel that well today. I wanted to text Em.
I pulled out my phone and opened the message app.
Later realizing I didn't fucking have her number. I wonder if Nikki had it.
"Nikki!" I shouted.
"What Cole?" She said grumpily. Somebody's on their period.
"What's Emma's number?" I asked smiling at her.
"Really? You woke me up this early to ask for her mumber?" She asked annoyed.
"Yes, actually I did." I smiled once again.
"Fuck you, Haim." She told me.
After begging for at least ten minutes, she finally gave in. Yay!
Colton- hey, emmy.
Em😋😏- um..who is this?
Colton- your worst nightmare, babe. ;)
Em😋😏- please, leave me alone.
Colton- emma, it's me, colton. :((((
Em😋😏- oh, I'm so sorry.
Colton- it's fine, don't apologize. do you need a ride to school?
Em😋😏- actually, yes. yes i do.
Colton- okay, I'll pick you up. byee.
Em😋😏- goodbye, Colton. :)
I put my phone in my pocket and headed out the door.
I inserted my key inside the ignition and started my car.
'You know what I'm sipping, I'll teach you how to mix i-.' Not right now, Drake.
I changed the radio station.
'Oh won't you stay for a while, I'll take you on a ride if you can keep our secrets.' I quickly turned the volume as high as it can go. I fucking loved this song, man.
