Third Person Point of View.
Love can be described as a strong affection towards your partner to some people. To others love may mean the world to them. Love may be breathing to some. Love is a great but horrible thing to all. Love can make you do the unexplainable for your partner. Love is love. It's unexplainable.
Emma powered her phone off and cuddled underneath the warmth of her blankets. She sighed as she remembered her and Colton's conversation. She thought to herself, I feel as if I've known Colton from somewhere. She quickly dismissed the thought, realizing she might be hallucinating due to how late she had stayed up.
On the other hand Colton, being the manwhore he is, was screwing a random redhead he found at the club. The events that occured previously are obvious. He got drunk, started dancing on a girl, took her to his place and they fucked. This had occured after his and Emma's conversation. It was as if Emma had not meant anything to him. Which was an understatement, Emma had meant much more than Colton had believed. Colton was so fucking oblivious that if someone had proposed to him, he would still ask 'You still like me right?' when they are at the altar. GETTING MARRIED. Poor Emma. :(
Emma thinks she has feelings for Colton. When in reality she has feelings for one side of Colton. The sweet, cocky Colton. That side unravels only with her and his new whore of the day. But, Colton has done many sinful things. That no-one, I mean no-one should ever even attempt to do. Although Colton doesn't continue with his dirty deeds, his past will forever haunt him. He worries that he will lose everything he has now will vanish with the blink of an eye if he reveals his deepest secrets.
Emma is not perfect either. She's a depressed, suicidal teenager. Thing is, she never fully recovered from her depression. She thought it was slowly fading, which it was at first, but as she witnessed and experienced things, it came creeping up on her at the most unexpected times. She may not have noticed it, but it will never leave from her system. Her past will also haunt her forever.
In reality, Colton and Emma are quite similar. They both have horrible pasts and have a double-sided personalities. Of course, no one will ever know their little secrets, only them.

The next morning, Colton woke up alone. Not missing the redhead's warmth whatsoever. He scratched his head remembering events that occured the previous night. He shook his head and got up slowly.
Emma woke up with a slight headache. She sat up and rubbed on her eyes. She had noticed bruises start to form on her arms and legs. She furrowed her eyebrows and did the thing most humans do when they notice a bruise.
She started poking them.
Wincing and continued poking on the rest of the bruises. She decided that the more she poked, the more it would hurt her, so she stopped poking them and slipped on the nearest slippers she found.
Eventually, she entered the hot, warm shower. She let the water fall onto her body and let it wander through her body. Soon enough, her body was soaked in warm water.
Thoughts haunted her as she continued the shower. What was the noise last night? The thought of another man/woman in her background at night unexpectedly was creepy. She feared for her life. She feared that there was a person watching her and was willing to harm her. Worse yet, harm her friends. She tried to remove the thoughts from her system, but they didn't seem to catch the hint and always creeped up on her at the most unsuitable times. She felt as if she was going crazy over this little, stupid noise. She thought she was actually going crazy. Was she?
Colton entered his shower, relief flashed through his body as he srubbed soap all over him. Getting rid of the redhead's touch. He shuddered at the thought of ever kissing or touching her.
Emma replaced his thoughts. What was she doing right now?
Kinda creepy for him to think that, but Emma has been occupying his thoughts alot lately. It's not like he can control it, because as soon as Emma is completely gone from his thoughts, he thinks of something and BOOM! she's back. Just like that. It slightly annoyed him, because he had not feelings for her whatsoever. But he actually cared alot for Emma. Too much for his own good. He knew, but never put mind to it.
Emma quickly did her morning procedure and exited her humble home. Expecting nothing at school. Just seeing her new friends and doing work at school. She expected for Colton to ignore her and just continue her life as if he never even met Emma. Deep down in her heart, she cared. She cared a lot. It hurt also. She felt as if someone had repeatedly stabbed her heart without a care in the world. She also knew that eventually, she would forget about him and move on. Although they barely had met, she felt as if she knew him from somewhere. She felt as if they met before. She always dismissed the thought.
What she nor him knew was that they in fact have met before.

Tried switching things up a bit. ;) I kind of liked it though. It gives you an insight of what they are both doing. Sorry for the lack of dialogue though. :((
