Its Not Summer Anymore

Chapter 21

Keagan and I get to the pool and he starts taking his clothes off.

"What are you doing." I say watching him untie his shoes.

"What dose it look like, I'm going for a swim." He says taking his socks off.

"And your coming in too." He says before he jumps in.

I got to admit the water looks very refreshing

So I start to undress. I get down to my bra and underwear and then without even thinking I jump in.

I come up for air only to see no one in the pool with me. That's when something grabs my leg and I get pulled under.

I kick my legs trying to get off what ever has a hold of me, only to end up kicking Keagan in the face.

I come up for air and find him coming up after me with a big smile on his face.

"What the hell are you laughing at?" I say a little appalled.

"This." He says holding his boxers up.

I look down in the water and to no surprise he's naked.

I start laughing too and we both just are standing in the pool laughing over nothing. God it feels good to laugh I haven't laughed like this in weeks.

We final stop laughing and he says "So we have to find out who the dad is don't we."

" Nope. " I say

He looks at me a little confused as he puts his boxers on. " what do you mean no. "

" I mean no were not finding out right now cause right now I'm gonna bet you to the other side of the pool." I say as I push off from the bottom and start swimming to the other side.

I can feel Keagan's swimming strokes behind me and then he grabs my foot and pulls me backwards. He gives me a sly smile and keeps swimming I finally catch up to him and grab onto his foot and push I'm under water. I swim over the top of him and grab the end of the pool. I throw my arms into the air and start chanting "I won...... I won....... I won."

Keagan comes up for air and gives me a dirty look.

"Oh don't be a sore loser. " I say teasing him.

" You cheated." he says fake pouting
"I know but I won. " I say singing with a big smile on my face.

That's when the pool door opens and the swimming teacher walks in.

" Hey. " She yells. " Your not supposed to be in here. "

" Okay know let's see who can run the fastest. " Keagan says jumping out of the pool, picking up his clothes and running to the opposite door that the teacher came in.

I do the same and run after him.

" You think we lost her. " I say out of breath.

" Yea. " Keagan says.

He starts to put his clothes back on and I follow.

" Your right though. " I say as I pull my pants on.

" Right about what. " He says pulling his T-shirt over his wet hair.

" I do need to find out who the father is. " I say with a worried look on my face.

" So how do you want to get DNA off Tyler. " He says putting his shoes on.

" I have an idea. "

" And that is? " Keagan ask.

" Where throwing a going away party for me." I say getting my bag from my locker and pulling my phone out.

"And how does that help us to find out who the dad is." Keagan asked a little confused.

I'm too busy texting away on my phone to answer him.

"Hello..... Katelyn did you hear me. " He says waving his hand in front of my face.

He gets tired of waiting I guess, because he snatches my phone out of my hand.

" What the hell." I yell at him trying to grab my phone back.

"Who the hell is so important that you can't answer me. " He says looking at my phone.

He reads Going Away Party at my house tonight there will be liquor and weed you a know where I live so no need for my address and don't forget to bring your friends.

" What the hell is wrong with you. How is this supposed to help us find your baby daddy?"

I snatched my phone back and say,
" Tyler can't resist a party, he shows up starts drinking we grab one of his empty bottles there you go DNA and a party's are fun. Problem solved. " I say finishing my text and sending it out to my whole address book.

"No.. not problem solved did you forget nobody really likes you anymore. And you can't drink or smoke and where are you gonna get enough liquor for the whole school. And your moms gonna kill you if you have a party at your house." Keagan says looking at me like I just lost my mind.

"Where in high school nobody really likes anybody anyway inless you got something to offer. And I got alcohol, drugs and a free pass for everyone to be snooping around the pregnant girl that maybe having a billionaire's baby or a abusive, dirt poor, asshole's baby. I don't know about you but not alot of people would pass that up. But I also have you backing me up if you get your football boys to go. Then the cheerleaders are bound to go and then all the people that want to be the the cheeralders or want to date the cheeralders will go and boom the whole schools going. And what do you mean my moms gonna kill me I'm already pregnant I can't really mess my life up anymore. So you in or out." I say to him as I close my locker and throw my bag over my shoulder.

He sighs and says "I'm in."

"Good cause your job is to get enough alcohol for the whole school." I say as I walk to the exit of the school.
