"Katelyn........Katelyn.........Katelyn....Get up Get in the shower." My mom yells across the house to me. I peek my eyes open and the light burns them I squeeze them shut and roll over pulling my blankets over my head. I hate Monday mornings. I whip the blankets off and the cold air hits my skin like a bus. I slowly walk to the bathroom probably looking like a zombie. I turn on the hot water in the shower and undress. I hop in the shower and get my hair wet when my stomach flips and my tongue turns sour. I jump out of the shower fast and lift the toilet lid up. And throw up last nights dinner. I try to pull my hair out of my face before I puke on it. I get it out of the way just in time as my stomach dose another flip and more food comes up. My mom runs in the bathroom and grabs my hair from me. I pore out everything in my stomach and finally stop gaging. "Are you okay." My mom ask. I nod my head and wipe off my face. "Well get back in the shower and I'll call the school and tell them your not coming." My mom says helping me up. "No." I choke out. "I want to go." my mom looks at me uneasy and says,"Well see how you feel when you get out of the shower."
I rap my self in a towel and open the door a little. To make the fog come off the mirror. I grab my toothbrush and put tooth past on it. I scrub my teeth till the sour taste goes away. And rinse my mouth as much as possible. I go into my room and get dress in a black and white dress with a hot pink belt. Then put some moose and gel in my hair. I put some make up on to cover the dark spots under my eyes and then some blush on my cheeks to make my face not so pale. I put on some eye shadow and mascara. I open my door and grab my bag and boots I slip my boots on and grab my lunch off the table. "Love you mom." I yell and go to run out the door when she says," Wait." I turn around and she gives me the pink pill. "It will help your stomach. I do hope these allergies pass." I kiss her on the cheek put the pill in my mouth and run out the door to catch the bus.
I spit the pill out in the grass and jump on the bus just as it pulls up. "Katelyn!!!" My best friends Jasmin and Zyla yell. I go and sit by them. "Omg I'm so glad your back in cellphone service." I smile at them and say," Yea." "You missed so much. Tyler is spiraling his grades dropped. He ditches school almost everyday and he can't stop smoking. Why did you have to brake up with him." Zyla ask. My smile fades and I say," I'm moving soon and didn't want to drag him along." I say trying to act like everything okay. "Don't remind me." Jasmin says grumpily. I just smile and jump off the bus and head into the school.
I walk into the school and everybody's eyes turn to me and in seconds there's a crowd around me. "Katelyn your back." Random people yell at me. "How was your trip." Another person yells. "Okay everybody let's give her some space." I hear a deep voice yell. I turn around to see Kegan and his football buddies pushing everyone back. I smile and run over to him hugging him tight. He raps his big arms around me and says," I'm glad your back." I look up at him and say," I'm glade to see you."
Kegan and I walk to class and he fills me in on everything. "So you got even more popular after you left. Everybody just wanted to talk to you." He says handing me back my phone. I forgot it at my house before I left and he was kind enough to answer everyone that decide to see how my trip was. "Oh and Tyler called 20 times and sent like 100 messages." He says smiling. "I was going to change my number. But forgot to. Did you know Hannah was selling it for 10 bucks. People act like I'm famous or something." I say annoyed. "Well you kinda are you went out with like the 3rd most richest guy in the world, son." He says quietly. I lift up my hand showing him the ring , " Still going out with Derrick. Is his name." I say rudely "RRRRIIIINNNNNGGGGG.We both run into Spanish hoping not to be late.
I hop in my seat and put my books down ,"Miss Kingsley your late." Says Mr. Charles. "Sorry Mr. Charles I just lost track of time." I say innocently. "I'll give you a pass for today. Glad your back. But Mr. Bachra that's a detention." I look over at Kegan and mouth "Sorry." He just rolls his eyes and goes back to drawing in his notebook.
