I looked at my reflection in the mirror. Brown hair that fell to the middle of my back, the natural blond highlights from the summer still hadn't faded, making my hair a nice golden color. Blue eyes. Tan skin. Really average looking. I stepped out of the steamy bathroom and got dressed. Tee-shirt and Jeans. I went into the bathroom and put on make-up. It was the first day of my last year in high school.
"Tabatha! come down and get something to eat!" my mom called.
"Okay mom! and I told you to call me Tabbi!"
"Your birth name is Tabatha and that is what you will be called!" I rolled my eyes and went down the hall to the kitchen. my little brother, Steph, was sitting at the table.
"Are you excited for school?" I asked. He rolled his eyes at me.
"Yes Tabatha, I am!" he said coolly. Steph was going to be a Sophomore. He thought he was so much better then me because he was born with perfect blond hair and blue eyes. His skin was perfect and he had a naturally fast metabolism. He was a guy that all the girls went after, football player, basketball player, and a swimmer. He was a jock, and completely full of himself. He thought he ruled the school.
Me on the otherhand...completely invisible, just the way I liked it. If I was invisible that meant no drama. And if there was no drama, then my life is easy.
"Stephen, be nice!" my father scolded.
"Whatever" he said, and stuffed a piece of toast in his mouth.
"Pig." I muttered.
"Anorexic whore that has never had a boyfriend." He yelled. That hurt.
"I can't be a whore if I've never had a boyfriend!" I yelled at him.
"Yes you can, you just sleep around with the entire population!" he shot back.
"I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF BOTH OF YOU! GET OUT!" my mother yelled. Gladly I grabbed my bag and shoes and went out the door.I pulled on my shoes and walked down to the bus stop. I plopped down on the bench, and stared off into space.
"Well look who it is." A masculine voice said, sitting beside me.The old bench squeaked, in complaint.
"You know, Ace, if you aren't careful, this bench is gonna break one day." I said not looking towards Ace. Ace was a guy that was in my grade, and had liked to pick on me when we where younger.
"Is that a fat joke?" he asked. I rolled my eyes and nodded in a joking way looking at him. His gray eyes, looking over my head.
"What are you looking at?" I asked. Ace didn't respond. Maybe he saw a squirrel... who knows? he shook his head, a few of his brown curls falling out of place. I looked back at the road, waiting for the 'big yellow limo' to pull up, to take me to my doom!
