A few more people gathered around the bus stop. Ace abruptly stood up, shaking me from my little trance.

"Why did you stand up?" I asked

"Aww, miss me?" he asked, amused. I rolled my eyes.

"Indeed" I said sarcastically.

"Hey Madison." Ace said suddenly. Ugh! I hated Madison with a fiery passion! Lets just say, if I don't like someone, it's probably because they have done something that I didn't like, or hurt my friends. Madison flipped her perfectly curled red hair over her shoulder, and popped her gum. I rolled my eyes. What was so special about her? Red hair, Brown eyes, normal height. Nothing to special, in my opinion anyway. But all the guys liked her, probably because she's slept with almost the entire senior males, and probably half of the juniors. She was the school slut, and little miss popular all rolled into one 5'5 top heavy bitch!

I sighed and went back to looking into oblivion.

"Hey Tabitha, how was your summer?" Madison asked, her tone, rude and uncaring.

"Great, and yours?" I said not glancing at her and, not interested, but I had a no tolerence for disrespect.

"Awesome." she winked at me. People like Madison could go die in a hole for all I cared. "So, where is that hot guy that is so unlucky to be related to you?"

"Don't know, don't care." I did care, but if Steph found out about it, he would make fun of me so, I'll just say i don't care.

"B.S. of course you know where he is." She argued.

"Whatever, no I don't, he's possibly walking here I really don't give a shit about my good for nothing little brother." I said.

"Okay, sheesh, don't bite my head off bitch." She laughed. Whatever, I didn't have time for this. The bus pulled up and I got off the bench.

"Cool people first" Madison laughed and pushed me aside. I rolled my eyes and bowed and pointed my arms to the stairs on the bus.

"After you." I spoke sarcasticly.

"Yes, you're right! After me!" she giggled and flicked her hair over one shoulder.

After everyone got on the bus I pulled out my iPod and turned it on to shuffle. LinkinPark came on. I turned the volume up all the way and didn't notice someone sitting beside me until they pulled out one of the ear-buds.

"What the hell?!" I yelled in her face. Aimee held her hands up. My face lit up. I hadn't seen Aimee all summer.

"Sorry, I forgot you are grumpy in the morning." Aimee said defensively.

"It's okay."i stated and looked out the window.

Aimee was my best friend. I could tell her pretty much anything. She was like me, and the rest of our friends. Social outcasts. I sighed. Aimee didn't have to be a social outcast though, she wanted to be. She could be in Madison's group, she was pretty, with wavey blonde hair and dark blue eyes. Aimee had been offered to become popular, to be in the clique, but she prefered the drama free social outcast life. Social outcasts because we use both sides of our brains. The bus pulled up to the load/unload zone of the school and we all filed out. Aimee and I set off towards the office to get our schedules. My schedule looked something like this

first-Band

second-percussion ensemble

third-free

fourth- Calculus (AP)

Lunch

fifth-auto shop

sixth-English 12 (AP)

This year's gonna be fun!
