Every one dread going to school, especially when it starts in the early morning. Elizabeth Bell was one of those people as she walked down the street towards the train station. She could actually take a direct car ride to school, unfortunately her father needed to be at work slightly earlier than usual.
Here, at the train station, Elizabeth was in her usual self always having her earphones on as she sang to the song, La Foule by Edith Piaf. Everyone knew she has a talent in singing like Deanna Durbin but she did not know her capability. There came the train and soon she hopped on.
Elizabeth had the habit of scanning for a perfect, comfortable seat. As long as she was far from the usual spot where people usually stood, she was fine. Elizabeth indeed found a seat and settle herself down beside a person who was reading newspaper (Well, the newspaper stink).
"You could have say that you disliked the "odour" the newspaper is giving", said the person beside Elizabeth. Elizabeth took out her earphones to see a man looking at her. This was her first time encountering a commuter trying to talk.
The man was in his early 30s, dark hair and had Oxford shoes. He had those green-blue eyes which made every girls instantly attracted to. There was something, an aura the man gave which indeed add on to his charm.
"I'm Richard Matthews. You?"
"Elizabeth... Bell", Elizabeth answered as she fixated onto the man's eyes. Richard gave a gorgeous Colgate smile when she replied. To stop herself from continuous blushing, she tried to continue the conversation but ultimately failed. Before Elizabeth was about to say anything, the train had already arrive at the station she was supposed to alight. "Hope to see you again sometime", said Richard. She smiled and bid a goodbye before leaving the train.
Elizabeth took another glance at the train to see whether he was still there. Unfortunately, Richard was no where to be seen. Without delaying her walk to school, Elizabeth put on her earphones and continued her journey with a smile on her face.
That is the end of Chapter 1. I thought about the idea few weeks ago after thinking back on Stoker. I like the beauty of the 2013 film, despite the disturbing, enchanting incest kind of relationship between India and Charlie Stoker. If you haven't try watching, I recommend you should. :)
