"Thank you for taking me to the beach.", Elizabeth smiled at Richard. She sure enjoyed the hang out session with him. "It's my pleasure.", he replied. "I shall be going."
Richard walked down the steps as he approached his brown, "down-to-earth" car. As he was about to enter the car, Elizabeth ran down and immediately kissed him. Were things going too fast? Richard had no idea, but this kiss sure warmed his feelings for her. "Good night.", she said as she walked back into the house.
------
It was rough past 12 midnight when Richard stopped his car in front of his house. Thankfully, it was Friday, so he was able to relax by drinking his favourite champagne by the sea since the house he bought a year ago came with the seaside view.
Richard gathered his glass and a bottle of champagne out in his backyard. Once he placed both on the coffee table, he went back in to take his portable CD player and some discs to play music. Richard was an enthusiastic music lover, from classical to some vinyls, he was the best guy if you ever wanted music advices.
Richard decided to go along with this particular disc and inserted it into the music player. (Music start) Soon, the air was filled with the sound of the music along with the sea breeze in the night. He loved this music, especially when it is translated into English, meaning as the tears dew.

New York City, 2011
"I can't believe you bluffed your husband, Amelia.", said Richard in shock. "What did you tell him?"
Amelia, the prettiest black haired lady Richard had ever known similar to the Black Dahlia, standing on the pathway in the city that never sleeps. She had the mysterious aura in her and always baited her green-brown eyes.
"I told him I am on a business trip.", she giggled. "My husband doesn't need to be pampered or something. They will be alright for the time being."
Finally, the couple arrived at a cinema which would be their so called first date and New York was their first getaway from their busy lives.
"So what is this movie called again, dar-", Amelia asked.
"The Artist.", Richard answered. "You will totally loved it, dear. All black and white, true silent film. It's what you always wanted to watch."
"Yes, it sure is.", she said as the couple bought tickets and entered the cinema. "I wish we could just be married and have a life here."
"I wish..."
------
The seaside view which Richard admired was feeling the same as the music he played. He stopped the music as more memories came rushing to him. The Artist was a film that holds a special place in his heart. It was the first getaway date with Amelia.
Slowly, Richard got up from his chair and proceeded to take a walk along the sea. How jolly it was to be able to stopped the time and lived this moment between euphoria and sanity.
"If only you were still here...", Richard thought.
(Music end)
------
I hope you enjoy this chapter as much as I do. The music Richard was playing is called, Comme Une Rosée De Larmes by Ludovic Bource. It came from the 2011 Oscar winner film, The Artist, best known for being the silent film starring Jean Dujardin (who was the Oscar winner for Best Actor that year) and Berenice Bejo.
If you have not watch the film, I suggest you to definitely give a shot. Stay tuned to the next chapter! :)
