Months after Richard's court hearing, in which the jurors have given their final verdict of the killing of the teddy boy, John Shelley, Elizabeth never heard of him since then and chose to keep it that way. There were instances where Richard tried to communicate with her, but she was no longer the Little Red Riding Hood.
Although the public thought the scandal was over with the media covering on the terrorist attacks by ISIS, Elizabeth's made changes in her life. She never really recovered from the things Richard did to her, despite treasuring the relationship she had with him. For the entire year, Elizabeth reluctantly had to attend counselling sessions.
------
Here Elizabeth was, walking towards the train station where she last did on the first day she met Richard. She listened to the song, Ghost by Halsey while dragging her luggage. You could guess either she was moving to somewhere better or going to the university she got accepted to.
Her father was proud of what Elizabeth produced for her examination results. You can shoved it at face of Ivy Leagues, he said. And she did when got an acceptance letter to attend universities such as Columbia University and Cornell University.
Elizabeth settled for Stanford University which ultimately dismayed her father but nevertheless still supported her always like a good parent. Besides, her best friend, Sophie was also attending the same university.
------
Elizabeth found a place to seat in this peak hour. She then settled her luggage below her seat and rested her arms. What a good day, Elizabeth thought as the train departed for the next stop. She did not even have to bother since hers was the last stop.
Elizabeth looked out of the window, where she could see the beautiful scenery which helped clear her mind. The birds chirping always reminded her to remain positive, wherever she goes...
"Mind if I join you, Miss?"
"There is always room for coincidence."

That is the end of The Truthful Game and hopefully you enjoyed this story much as I do. The quote from Alva Noto was just what I needed for this last chapter and I shall leave it to you on how it ends.
Do check out my other stories including Downtown Love at My Works too. :)
