Chapter 39: Tears Ain't For You

"Ready for the mission?", Ryan asked Sophia as they began to walk into the hospital.

"Yup! I totally remember the plan. Join them up right now right?", she asked him.

"Absolutely right! Just go with the flow of anything goes out of control!", Ryan instructed Sophia.

Sophia have a smile and a light nod before changing her face into an evil look. She saw Robert from a distance sitting outside Katherine's ward. He was all alone.

"Go Sophia! It's your cue!", Ryan told Sophia.

He picked up his pace and went into Katherine's room. John and Pamela were there.

"Hey Katherine! How are you?", Ryan asked as he sat next to Katherine's bed.

"I'm fine. Feeling much better and lighter.", she gave him a fake smile.

"Lighter?", Ryan asked her, all confused.

"I mean I feel much lighter because I might have lose some weight!", she said cheerfully.

"Katherine, you shouldn't be talking a lot. Your blood pressure has been going high since yesterday after your accident. It's not good.", Pamela warned her daughter.

"Don't worry mum. I'm fine!", she said cheerfully.

"Well if I'm not wrong I just heard that Katherine is fine? How could you overcome the breakup you just had less than 24 hours ago?", Sophia barged in with Robert's hand held tightly.

"Why are the two of you here? Get out!", John exclaimed in anger.

"Relax Mr Cruz! I'm not going to say much. It will just take a while.", Sophia replied back with a smirk on her face.

"Oh really Sophia? I actually think that you can take all my time up to talk whatever you want.", Katherine said as she sat up straight and held onto Ryan's hand.

Ryan looked at Katherine and then looked at Sophia. She didn't understand how to continue with the plan.

"Erm... I just want to say that-", she paused for a moment and looked at Ryan.

"Just go with the flow Sophia! Nothing will happen", Sophia said in her mind.

"What do you want to say?", Katherine asked Sophia.

"She just want to say that both Sophia and I are going to date each other. Does anyone had any objections?", Robert spoke for Sophia.

"No one has any objections. I also would like to tell all of you that both Ryan and I are going to date each other as well! Does any of you have any objections?", Katherine replied.

No one spoke for quite a while.

"Seems like everyone is fine with it. Now could the two of you leave?", Katherine requested them to leave.

"I'll send them out.", Ryan said as he forced his hand out of Katherine's hand.

Robert immediately let go of Sophia's hand and walked off out of the hospital. Ryan and Sophia were in disbelieve.

"This is totally shocking! What happened to the two of them?", Ryan asked Sophia.

"I'm not sure. Why did she hold your hand?", she asked him back.

"That's because you were holding Robert's hand. Why were you holding it?", Ryan asked.

"I tried to let go of it but he was holding it with too much force.", Sophia tried to justify.

"Wait a minute! Do you know what does this mean then?", Ryan asked Sophia.

"Yeah! I'm trying to understand it now!", she nodded her head.
