Part 18 - Time for paint

Anyways, let's get right into the story again!

Previously in Genius in Distress

We arrived at the Hall Of Mirrors after a bit of walking. We saw 7 large mirrors with in front arches of a darker purple material. The crests of the dorms were at the top of the intricate arches. The one we went to, depicts a large heart that is half black and half red. The standard suites for a deck of cards (Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, and Clovers) are depicted on the right, representing the different card soldiers found in the Queen of Heart's Royal court. The crest has a crown and a high collar at the top, alluding to the Queen of Heart's iconic appearance.

We walked through the mirror, which was, admittedly, a very weird feeling.

POV: 1st person (Y/n)

I was blinded for a few seconds after I went through the mirror, blinking rapidly to get the black spots out of the way. I rubbed my eyes slightly, being careful not to ruin the makeup I had put on this morning (I don't remember if I mentioned it, but we did, matching the outfit so things like the following pic, THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE)

Once I finally got my vision back, I saw the Heartslabyul dorm. It was very pretty and heavily influenced by the Queen Of Hearts (obviously). It was a giant maze of rose bushes with big hearts, which looked like a glorified McDonald's logo if you squinted your eyes, leading to a big open space which was filled with the dorm itself, the colour mostly consisting of reds, whites and a hint of black here and there.

Of course, Grim had to immediately make a remark once we saw the dorm. "Dang, this place is swank! This is nothing like our dumpster of a dorm." I am going to punt him. "Our dorm is a work-in-progress!" Yuu remarked. "The inside, I already mostly renovated Grim. You just can't tell from the outside, you dimwit" I had to do it. I couldn't not!
