Chapter one

People say life is great, seeing places that blows your mind. However life has some tricks up their sleeve and they are cappy tricks.
Moving was a big step for my family, considering we lived in a small town of Colorado. I just hope moving to New York City was a good thing.
My dad lost his job as a security guard at a mall because he couldn't stop a drunk guy that was running through the mall, naked....
He said he hated it there and he didn't regret splashing his boss's face with go coffee.
Let's just hope he can keep his job as an insurance agent...
My brother Alex was all to happy to get out of the small town and into the city to go to huge sporting events.
And my mom landed a job in Ulta Beauty as a cosmetologist. She didn't like the cheap cappy makeup they sold at places like Family Dollar. She threatened to sue them because she bought a dollar eyeshadow brush and it barely picked up any product and she almost pushed out her eyeball... literally.
However the huge move wasn't that great for me. I left my two best friends behind, and my chance of winning the annual art fair. So much for trying...

Anyhow things have been hectic at home, getting Alex ready for Freshman year at the high school and getting myself emotionaly together for sophomore year. Honestly I don't know how I got through with freshman and junior...
I've also had my iPhone glued to my hand, trying to talk to my boyfriend Jonas from Colorado. He says his life is a mess too...
Figures....
Anyhow Chess and Kate, my two BFF'S entered my painting for the art fair and I placed first. They promised to mail the prize money but I bet they already spent most of it at the mall.
My phone buzzed and it was Jonas.

Sorry, fell asleep. School started already

Me: haha we have a week left.

Jonas: were already staring trigonometry in math

Me: haha have fun with that

He didn't reply after that, I guess class already started. My fun was about to start real soon here...
