Days turned into weeks and I was finally discharged from the hostpital. It was a relief and I had a crap load of school work ahead of me.
School was already in fall break and I didn't have school for a while. But while we were on break I would go to the hospital and see if Duncan was awake. Now I know for sure he's in a coma. He hasn't waken up. Not one movement.
Tracey never showed up either. Stoned hearted she never cared. I knew she was a horrible girlfriend.
It made me even more upset, considering I never did much or said a thank you for keeping Tracey away from me some what...
It gave me a horrible feeling in my gut and I wanted him to wake up so that feeling would go away.

I got a text from Brian and we met at a bookstore where he was looking for some art books.
He honestly didn't look that great. He was pale and he hardly said anything when I walked in. His hair was a mess and I'm pretty sure he hasn't slept in a while.
He sat down in a chair and ran his fingers through his knotted hair.
I sat down in a chair next to him.
"You must feel awful." I said.
He nodded and said, " Tracey should have been there for him. It was her fault to begin with."
I raised my eyebrows.
"Huh?" I asked.
"Her and Duncan got into an argument and Tracey went to cross the street but a jeep came and didn't see her so he pushed her put of the way and..." He made smashing sounds with his mouth and smashed his thumb against the table.
"He's in a coma in critical condition." He said and huffed loudly
"I knew Tracey would be a cappy girlfriend." I said and sighed.
He nodded. He didn't talk, only stared out the window. He was hurt. I felt it. This whole thing with Duncan was really tearing him apart. Brian told me they had been best friends since third grade.
I reached out and held his hand, "He's going to get better, Dr. Reeds was my doctor. He knows what he's doing. He's going to help him." I said and smiled.
Brian gave a half smiled and ran his fingers through his hair.
"If it makes you better we can go see him right now." I said and grabbed his hand.
He blushed and tried to pull away, "Aspen no!" He said.
I dragged him out of that coffee shop like I was ready to kill him, which I was proabobly... But I stuffed him in my car and we drove off to the hospital.
He stared out the window and I wondered what he was worried about. Yeah Duncan could be dead, but I also wondered another thing too.
"I mean, are you gay or something?" I wondered out loud.
He blushed and frowned, "No." He said and crossed his arms.
"I mean no offense but you seemed really worried about him like you have a crush on him or something." I said.
"I am not gay, Im. I'm bisexual." He said quietly.
"ohhhh, so you do have a crush on Duncan." I said.
"That's not what I meant, I mean yes. No... Augh!" He threw his face into his coat.
"So you don't?" I asked.
I raised an eyebrow.
"yes." He muttered.
"So you do?" I asked.
"No."
"But you said you're bisexual."
"that doesn't mean I'm gay."
"It means your into girls and guys."
"That's not what I mean."
"So you're like a bendy stick?"
"A what?."
"You like girls and guys." I said.
"No." He said and he began getting flustered.
"Then what do you like?" I asked.
"I already said I was bisexual." He said irritated.
"But you said you don't like girls or guys." I said.
"Forget it." He said.

We had arrived at the hostpital and we're already on our way to Duncan's room because I remember it being close to the hostpital room I stayed in. Dr. Reeds already knew who I was and we had checked in.
We went inside and we were happy to see Duncan awake actually. He seemed tired and had a black eye and his arm was in a cast and his neck had a collar on it.
"Some one got banged up good." I joked. ((Hehe joke get it? huh. huh.))
"Felt like I got hit by a truck." He joked back.
