(Sorry I was busy with school and stuff. Haha darn school.)
My eyes cracked open and I could smell fresh oxygen from my oxygen tube and an I V in my arm with some pain killers.
I wasn't at school. That's for sure. I was in the hostpital.
I looked over to see familiar faces.
"Yo, Aspen your awake." It was Duncan.
I rubbed my eyeballs with the back of my hands.
"Oooh, you." I said groggily.
"What are you doing here?" I asked and sat up.
He shrugged, "I heard what happened two days ago in school and my mom is going into surgery for her hernias."
"Who told you?" I asked.
"Tracey was telling everyone that you were vomiting all over the school." He said.
I sighed and sat back in my bed.
"It's not true though. The teachers went in the bathroom and looked all over the school but there was no mess. You must be a clean freak." He said and laughed.
I smiled, "What happened to Tracey."
He sighed and high heels came clicking into the room.
"Oh my God you look like something dead." She said.
"I wish I was back into my coma." I groaned.
"I spoke to the nurses, they said they were putting you back on chemo treatment." She said.
"Why do you care?" I asked.
she rolled her eyes and looked over at Duncan with an evil stare, "anyhow I'm gonna go get coffee. Come on Duncan."
He stood up and walked out of the room.
"Sorry." He mouthed as Tracey dragged him out.
Then I was alone again and my mom came in.
she smiled and looked at me. I could tell she has been crying because her eyes were red and she was sniffling hard.
She took deep breaths and sat down on the edge if my bed.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Your tumor in your hip began to swell. We had to put you back on chemo." She said.
I groaned. If only I had made it the second day. I could have made it but I didn't want to die. At least it happened in the classroom.
There was another I V attached in the crease of my elbow, it was the chemo.
"When can I go back to school?" I asked. Hopefully.
She shook her head no.
"Not until next month." She said.
I noddedHonestly i was really upset when I found out. I really thought it would be nice to see Brian, Bailey, Gigi, and Britt. I really miss them and i wonder if they had heard what happened. It would really be nice to see them right now. Considering my mom is about to go to work.
My mom smiled again and flicked away a few tears with her fingers and sighed, "i have to go to work. If you need anything, call the nurses or me. I always have my phone with me."
"I'm okay mom, I'm just tired right now. Also i cant really do much." I said with a shrug.
She nodded and left the room with me alone for now.
Time seems to go slower when your in the hospital. I looked around my room and watched some television and read books. I really hate doing nothing. I also don't really like sleeping much. I like to stay up. That's one thing I really hate, is I cant do anything. I just sit there, helpless and jaded.
My phone buzzed and it was Bailey
Bailey: Hey girly, just got out of school, comming to see ya! bringing the squad :)
I smiled. I love how she makes me feel part of them. I just moved here. I should be shy and the weird kid that always has mayonase on their spam sandwiches.
Me: Awesome, cool. Thanks, see ya soon girly
I grinned. I could use the time and take a nap.
