"Come on Lane lets go!!" I pound on his dorm door. He is still sleeping and we have rehearsal in twenty minutes. Simon told me at breakfast that he, Aaron and Lane found some confiscated alcohol last night at the Lane had indulged a little too much in it. Of course in the comp you get three strikes and your out. If this was his week he wouldn't be doing this but I know that he secretly hates Contemporary week. "Lane!" I bang on the door again. It bursts open.

"What?" He glares at me and I don't know why he sour towards me. It's his fault that he's feeling crappy.

"You have ten minutes to get to our rehearsal." I tell him.

"Shit." He mutters before rushing out of his room. I try to follow him but he heads to the showers. I head back to our rehearsal room. I stretch out waiting for our choreographer. Lane walks in and his hair is soaked and I'm happy he's not late. I find it hard to keep my eyes off of him but I know I have to. Why would he get drunk when he knows that we have rehearsal?

"Good morning." Our choreographer walks in. "I'm Travis its very nice to meet you. Let's get started on this number." The piece is beautiful. I listen as Travis tells us what the piece is about.

"This piece is about connection and you two don't seem to have one." Says Travis. "This is a post break up piece. You guys fought and it was bad but this is you guys making up." My eyes widen.

"So..?" Lane asks him and he continues.

"At the beginning Cassandra you will be dancing alone and Lane you will be standing farther back. Lane you approach Cassandra first-"

"What why do I have to take the step to make up?"

"Because you can't imagine life without this girl." Travis tells him. "Anyways, at first Cassandra you are reluctant to do it. You don't know if you want to get back together." Lane scoffs and I nod understanding. I can almost see it playing out in my head.

"As you dance together your chemistry makes you realize that you need him to live. He's what keeping you alive." Travis states and I feel like Lane's ego visibly got bigger. "Your passion for each other will start to become present. All you two can think about is each other and how much you need the other. Until Cassandra you take a leap of trust and he catches you. You both realize that in order to love you need each other. By the end of the piece you two will be in love."

"I don't think so." Lane scoffs glaring at me. I roll me eyes at him. Of course out of everyone in the whole camp I had to get the head strong one. We learn the dance and go over it and even dancing it I can get the story behind it. It's basically a make up song.

The piece is intricate and I love it so much. Travis suggests we spend more time together and get to know each other for the piece but Lane and I avoid each other like the plague. I know it's mutual because when ever I see him he's walking in the opposite direction. Five times is not a coincidence.

"You know what?" Travis says the second day. "This piece isn't working for you two. We will start another. This is another love piece but it's easier than the last."

"No Travis we can do this!" I say loud.

"Cassandra we have only three other days than today. We need something that you guys can nail and our current piece doesn't seem to be happening." He tells me. "Let's start again."

After our second day of rehearsal I'm even more exhausted than before. We had to try to catch up so that by the end of the week we can be where we need to be. I hate the thought of spending the night in my room so I go to the lounge to play games with Winter. We decide to take out a board game instead of video games. Winter, Simon and myself play Bang! And it's so much fun. Simon wins loads and the rest of us just have fun playing. Tiffany, Walter and Aaron join us.
