Olive TH : I came into the studio early cause I've been working on a solo , I really wanna be female soloist and I wanna help the team , I've been working so hard
(Noah and Richelle watch olives solo)
Noah : this is pretty powerful
Richelle : yeah
Richelle TH : olives solo is powerful but something's missing
Olive TH : I'm pulling every trick out of the bag
Noah : good technique
Richelle : yeah
(Olive finishes her solo)
Noah : that was really good , I can see how hard you've worked
Richelle : yeah good job
Noah : we will think about female soloist but right now we need you and Ariana to focus on your duet
Olive : right yeah
(Richelle looks at Olive then looks away)
Olive TH : I really want a solo for internationals but the duet is important too
(Olive goes to find Ariana)
Olive : hey wanna rehearse
Ariana : yeah
Olive : we need to make it good and clean
Ariana : yeah
Olive : I mean it's internationals
Ariana : I know
(Olive tries to practise the lift with Ariana but her wrist slips)
Ariana : you ok ?
Olive : yeah let's just try it again
Ariana : ok
Ariana TH : things between me and Olive are kinda rough right now and I hoped that we would be able to work things out for internationals , but I don't know
Ariana : Olive stop you've gotta trust me
Olive : I do trust you
Ariana : this isn't working
Olive : maybe because you need to focus more
(Ariana and Olive keep trying the duet and half way through the dance Olive starts to feel dizzy)
Ariana : Olive ?
Olive : yeah yeah I'm good , I'm just gonna get some water
Ariana : I thought you wanted to rehearse
Olive : yeah later
(Olive walks out)
Ariana TH : I've never seen Olive like this before , I've gotta talk to Millie
(Ariana goes to find Millie)
Ariana : hey can I talk to you
Millie : yeah sure what's up
Ariana : um have you noticed anything different about Olive
Millie : no not really
Ariana : like being weird or anything
Millie : we haven't really spent much time together
Ariana : but you and Olive are always so close
Millie : yeah but recently she's kinda pulled away her main focus is dance which I guess is a good thing
Ariana : dance is important but so is family and friends
Millie : yeah well you should talk to her if you think something is wrong
Ariana : I've tried
Millie : well try harder
Ariana TH : this does not sound like Olive at all
Noah : so what do you think Olive for the solo
Richelle : yeah and no
Noah : why no ?
Richelle : well yeah her solo was great but it looked like she was over powering the dance and lost control of it
Noah : I think she's just trying to do a good job
Richelle : yeah I know but something about her seems a bit off
Noah : just relax it's gonna be great ok
Richelle : ok if you say so...
Noah TH : Olive is definitely the right choice for female soloist
(Millie goes to find Olive and finds her half asleep on the sofa in the next steep )
Millie : hey
Olive : oh hey
Millie : day time nap
Olive : yeah um I didn't sleep great
Millie : you left early this morning you could of used a few more hours in bed
Olive : yeah well I had things to do
Millie : things like what ?
Olive : like auditioning for the female soloist
Millie : wait what ?
Olive : yeah I made a solo and they liked it I think and said they would think about it
Millie : what about your duet with Ari
Olive : what about it
Millie : well you won't be able to do both
Olive : just relax it's fine
Millie : are you sure your ok you look a bit washed out
Olive : yeah just need to get some liquids down me , anyways I better go to rehearsals I'll see you later
Millie : yeah see ya
Millie TH : I know Olive and this definitely doesn't seem like her
(Noah goes to find Olive)
Noah : hey
Olive : hey everything alright ?
Noah : yeah congratulations Olive you are the female soloist for internationals
Olive : omg are you serious
Noah : yeah
Olive : thank you so much I won't let you down
Richelle : yeah we know
Noah : just stay focussed yeah
Olive : yeah
Olive TH : I can't believe I'm actually the female soloist for internationals , this is amazing , I knew things would work out
Richelle : yeah so I hope you have a lot of extra time cause you have to rehearse your solo and your duet
Olive : oh yeah
Richelle : the pressure is on
Olive : I've got it
(Olive goes to rehearsal with Ariana)
Ariana : you look smiley
Olive : yeah I am , I'm the female soloist for internationals
Ariana : wait you got it ?
Olive : yeah they loved it I knew they would
Ariana : that's great I'm happy for you
Olive : yeah I mean it's fine I just need to rehearse the duet and the solo but it's fine nothing I can't handle
Ariana : that seems like a lot are you sure
Olive : yeah it's all good
Ariana : well I'm proud of you
Olive : thanks
(Ariana hugs Olive and Olive looks down for a second)
Olive : umm anyways we should rehearse
Ariana : yeah
Ariana TH : I'm happy for Olive but this seems a bit too much
