(Laura is carrying mats into the closet when she sees a girl pass)
Laura : hey um can I help you ?
Olivia : hey I'm just looking for Riley
Laura : Riley , yeah um I think she's out at the minute but can I help
Olivia : well I'm childcare practitioner and she messaged saying she needed someone to help her look after the baby so I offered and she gave me a job
Laura : wow didn't know you got paid to be a babysitter
Olivia : well yeah
Laura : oh I'm Laura , I'm a dancer here
Olivia : oh are you on A troupe ?
Laura : of course why wouldn't I be
Olivia : ok well I better try and find her
Laura : yeah no oh I could help you find her
Olivia : yeah that would be great actually
Laura : yeah of course
Laura TH : wow... just wow
(Richelle gets changed in the locker room for rehearsals and it ignores the pain she's been having)
Noah : hey
Richelle : hey
Noah : the hospital gave an update and the treatment for Scarlett is working which is a good thing
Richelle : oh yeah it's amazing
Noah : you ok , did you get done with the choreography last night ?
Richelle : yeah I did , I'll go through it with you
Noah : actually I need you to run a rehearsal
Richelle : why ?
Noah : oh I'm showing a new girl around the studio
Richelle : what is she a dancer ?
Noah : no well she can dance but she's helping Riley with the baby
Richelle : oh nice
Noah : I shouldn't be too long but yeah I'll see you in a bit
Richelle : yeah bye
(Richelle losens the strap on her bra and shuts her locker quickly)
(Laura accidentally trips over a mop bucket and whacks her head on it)
Laura : ow
Olivia : um are you ok ?
Laura : no I'm fine yeah fine
Laura TH : I think I just concussed myself
Noah : Laura what are you doing messing around , you need to be at rehearsals
Laura : um I thought I was only needed for spare dancers
Noah : well you thought wrong , oh hello
Olivia : hi
Noah : ah Olivia right
Olivia : yeah
Noah : well make yourself at home and look around the studio
(Laura looks down at the floor)
Noah : Laura
Laura : hmm
Noah : rehearsals
Laura : I'll see you
Olivia : yeah see you later
(Richelle starts stretching for rehearsals)
Richelle : right let's go guys , we're gonna be doing some choreography for a hip hop routine
Tali : oh Richelle
Richelle : yes Tali
Tali : um Maisie's not coming to rehearsal , she ate a bad kebab
Richelle : of course she is
Millie : so their will be a missing spot
(Richelle sees Laura walk in late)
Richelle : where have you been ?
Laura : oh sorry I got lost
Richelle : you got lost , you know where studio A is
Richelle : right let's go
Finley : um Richelle
Richelle : what now
Finley : there's a spot missing
Richelle : right
(Richelle sees Olivia walk in , Laura instantly looks down)
Richelle : can I help you ?
Olivia : yeah Noah told me to wait in here for Riley to come
Richelle : who are you ?
Olivia : oh I'm Olivia
Richelle : ah right , you dance ?
Olivia : umm well I mean
Richelle : great your filling in the spot
Olivia : um what ?
Richelle : look I don't have time for this right now so just fill the spot in the dance
Tali : umm but she's not on the team
Richelle : I don't care whether she's on the team or not , if she can dance she can dance ok !
Tali : ok ok
(Richelle teaches the choreography and is surprised how fast Olivia picks it up)
Richelle : wow that was really good
Olivia : really ?
Richelle : yeah your doing better than half of these dancers in the room
(Laura smiles at Olivia)
Laura TH : I think Olivia would be a good fit to the team.. I mean she's a good dancer that's why
(Richelle itches near her bra strap)
Laura : you alright ?
Richelle : yeah yeah you know what take the rest of the day off
Laura : really ?
Richelle : yeah all of you go get out of my sight
(Laura sees Olivia walk past)
Olivia : well I better go and find Riley
Laura : yeah see ya
(Laura smiles as Olivia leaves)
(Olivia finds Riley)
(Riley is eating a handful of jelly beans)
Olivia : um are you Riley ?
Riley : yeah that's me
Olivia : oh right I'm Olivia , I'm your baby sitter
Riley : ah Olivia it's great to finally meet you , you are like 2 hours late but it's fine
Olivia : yeah well I sorta got dragged into a dance practise
Riley : oh never apologise for dancing
(Riley gives Olivia a bag of nappies and a list of things)
Riley : well I've got a few things to do so yeah you've got this
Olivia : yeah um what time will you be back ?
(Riley already shuts the door)
Olivia : oh
(Richelle bumps into Laura in the hallway)
Richelle : why do you kids never look where your going
Laura : sorry , how's Scarlett ?
Richelle : um yeah she's doing ok , I mean they said the treatment is working so that's a good sign
Laura : oh good , we miss her at the studio
Richelle : yeah
Laura : you excited for your wedding ?
Richelle : yeah of course
Laura : I bet your wedding dress will look amazing
Richelle : oh yeah.. I was meant to have a wedding dress fit today but I cancelled
Laura : cancelled why ?
Richelle : because some things are more important than dresses , you know there's the team and I'm helping Noah
Laura : but that's your own future
Richelle : look can you stop with the questions and continue where you were going
Laura : alright sorry
Richelle : yeah well I've got a lot of stuff to do so
Laura : the teams always there for you
Richelle : what ?
Laura : for Scarlett I mean
Richelle : yeah thanks
(Olivia wheels a buggy around the studio)
Laura : ah day care duty going good then
Olivia : yeah I've only got 27 more things left on Riley's list to do
(Laura looks at the list)
Laura : wow yeah that's really hardcore
Olivia : yeah I've got it though
Laura : Richelles given everyone the day off
Olivia : yeah I was there
Laura : I mean I know a thing or two about changing a nappy
(Noah walks by)
Noah : ah just the person I was looking for
Laura : yeah why
Noah : well maybe you could be become a nanny for the rest of the day
Laura : help with the baby
Noah : no I need you to teach baby ballet
Laura : ah right
Noah : actually Olivia it might be a good way to get him to sleep
Olivia : yeah
Laura : ha yeah
Noah : so Olivia can sit in and watch the rehearsal
Laura : actually I'm not feeling that great so
Noah : nope your doing this thanks
(Laura looks at Olivia awkwardly)
(Laura walks into the baby ballet room)
Laura : wow that's a lot of children
Eddie ( a baby ballet dancer) : what's your name ?
Laura : oh it's Laura
Thea : ha she forgot her name
Nancy : who's the cute girl
Laura : um so should we get started , do some stretches
(The kids look at Laura)
Laura : umm so why are non of you moving
Eddie : because that's boring , this is a proper routine
(Laura folds her arm quietly and Olivia looks at her )
Laura TH : great I'm getting overrun by a punch of toddlers
Olivia : don't worry kids are like that
Laura : yeah..
(Olivia steps forward and gets the kids to listen to her)
Laura TH : how does she do it ?
Olivia : we could make this a duo thing we both run the rehearsal ?
Laura : mhmm yeah
Laura TH : oh no... no I'm falling
(Richelle sits in the office scrolling on her phone when she gets a notification from the dress place telling her to re book her dress fitting but Richelle deletes the message and puts a hand on her chest)
