Delta's POV

The drive from the airport didn't take long. By the time we arrived, the sun was already hanging high in the sky, light reflecting off the ocean in a way that almost hurt to look at.

And the place Fumiya brought us to-

...was ridiculous.

A private beach house, sitting just a few steps away from the shore. Wide glass windows stretched across the front, reflecting the ocean like a mirror. The structure itself was open and modern, clean lines, polished surfaces, everything designed to feel... effortless.

"Welcome!" Fumiya spread his arms dramatically as they stepped inside. "Your home for the next few days."

"...You're insane," Arman muttered, looking around.

"Insanely rich," Ichika corrected again, already used to it.

Dante, on the other hand-

"THIS IS AMAZING!!"

He didn't even stop walking, already halfway across the room toward the massive windows. His hands pressed against the glass, eyes wide like he'd just discovered something completely new.

"Guys, guys! Look at this!"

"We can see it, Dante," Pheng said, chuckling as he stepped in more casually.

Gwyn lingered near the entrance for a moment longer, taking everything in quietly. His gaze moved slowly, observant as always, noting details without saying a word.

And me, I just glanced around once.

The place is spacious, clean, and quiet.

...Not bad.

"Alright!" Fumiya clapped his hands together, pulling everyone's attention back. "Rooms are already set."

Arman crossed his arms immediately. "You already decided?"

"Of course I did."

Ichika sighed under her breath. "...Here we go."

Fumiya pointed casually. "Me and Ichika."

"Obviously," she muttered.

"Arman with Taka."

"Pheng with Gwyn."

Pheng gave a small shrug. "...Works."

Gwyn nodded once. "...Understood."

Then, Fumiya grinned slightly.

"And Delta with Dante."

For a second, I didn't react. Didn't move. Didn't say anything.

But internally-

...Finally. A quiet sense of satisfaction settled in before I could stop it.

"...Tch."

I clicked my tongue softly, looking away like it didn't matter. But the tension in my shoulders eased just slightly.

Dante lit up immediately. "Oh! Nice!" No hesitation. No second thoughts. Just... happy.

"Alright, go unpack or whatever," Fumiya waved them off. "We've got time before anything else."

Everyone started moving. Grabbing bags. Heading off to their assigned rooms.

I walked in silence beside Dante. Not too close. Not too far. Just... there. The hallway was quiet compared to the main area, sunlight still filtering in through side windows, casting soft shadows along the floor.
