I looked around to see fire everywhere."No escape" I whispered to myself as the fire came closer."I should've listened", I said as my voice cracked."The end is near" Sota yelled.
------------------3 hours earlier----------------
"So they want to kill me?" I asked, "Yes" Sota said sadly."I think you should leave and never come back." Sota said after a long silence. Without a word I nodded slowly walking away going over the conversation over and over inside my head. I then turned a corner and around the corner was the last person I wanted to see."(f/n) I've been looking all over for you." Luffy said as I just nodded my head and continued walking."Are you alright?" He asked, I turned and looked a him. I couldn't hold back anymore,"HOW COULD YOU?!!!" I screamed tears streaming down my face."Woah (f/n) don't know what you're talking about." "YOU KNOW DAMN WELL WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME!" I screamed running away leaving Luffy speechless.
After running for what seemed like forever I finally sat down on a bench, scenes of what happened playing through my head."I'm so stupid for listening to sota" I said wiping away my tears."(f/n) mind telling me what happened between you and luffy" I looked up to see nami looking at me concerned. "I let sota get the best of me" I said as nami tilted her head "sota?" "nevermind, So where's Luffy?" I asked sighing "The name sounds familiar umm...I don't remember, but I have heard it. And Luffy is in his room crying." she said as I got up to see luffy. "Almost time" Nami said as I walked by.'Almost time, this day keeps getting weirder and weirder' I thought.
At luffy's door I didn't hear any sobs all I heard was chuckling. "Hello?" I said nervously venturing through the door."(f/n) I've been expecting you" a women said I looked to see "MAITA?!" "Surprise! I'm back." she said smiling. "I Th-" "I decided I belong here with you. I need to protect you" she said interrupting me."Why do you need to protect me?" I asked,"Because the straw hats an sota are working together to kill you! We need to leave now"she said as the door swung open revealing sota."Don't do it (f/n) once you go to her she's gonna call a buster call."He's lying (F/n), Why would I call a buster call when I'm on the island and plus we're practically sisters" maita said, "I HAVE A FEELING SOTA IS LYING!"I yelled "NO (F/N)!" sota yelled but I ignored him running up and hugging maita."You fell for it you were always so gullible." she said and then everything went black.
----------------------------Present------------------
"I'm sorry for not listening sota" I said tears streaming down my face. "It's ok I wouldn't have believed me either," he said sitting down beside me."only a matter of time until we're gone" I whispered putting my head to my knees."You know I think your mother would be proud of you," sota said smiling looking up at the sky as a tear slid down his cheek."huh why would she be proud?" I questioned."Because you stuck to your gut she always loved that about you" he said.
As we sat there waiting for the end to come more and more cannons were shot.'I had a great life. I just wish my friends were actually friends' I thought."(f/n)!" I looked to see luffy springing over landing right in front of me."luffy?!" I asked surprised, "The one and only," he said with his goofy smile."But aren't you and everyone else part of the buster call?" "No we were framed it was maita who planned everything. Turns out her and her brother planned this all out." Luffy said."phew I'm so relieved that you guys aren't apart if this and I'm sorry for flipping out in you earlier" I said getting up and hugging luffy."I would never hurt you and plus how could I stay mad at my wife." "Wife?" I questioned looking up at him smiling goofily again."Yeah that was the question I was gonna ask you. (F/n) will you marry me?" After he asked that I forgot about the buster call and the fire surrounding us all I could think was luffy."YES I WOULD LIVE TO!" I shouted jumping into him bear hugging him."Aww touching moment, but one problem... THE BUSTER CALL!" Sota freaked."Oh yeah we'll deal with the wedding later but right now we have to deal with this." Luffy said.
"LETS DO THIS!!"
