I hear Meg cursing downstairs as I startle awake. She looks at me but all I can see is her silhouette. Something feels off about her.
"Hi," I greet Meg.
"Hi," she says back.
"How are you?," I ask.
"Never been better," she says, not sounding like herself.
I look at her suspiciously. "There's something wrong with you."
"What are you talking about? I'm the same person you saved," she says.
I shake my head. "I don't think so."
She grabbed my arm tightly and we walked out of Dauntless. I yanked my arm away. "This isn't you." I try to walk back to Dauntless.
Darkness surrounds me and I can't tell where it's coming from. I turn around to Meg and see it coming out of her palms. It rushes inside me and I start to feel a change in me. I can't fight it. My body starts to go numb.
"You're mine now," she says. "You have no choice."
I follow her away from Dauntless.
"So, how did you get this power?," I ask.
"From my past. My anger and my memories bring them up," she says. "You follow my orders now. You are not to go back to Dauntless."
