Meg

I hear footsteps coming upstairs as I lay in bed with Sarah. Sarah grabs her gun and I reach for mine. The footsteps get louder as we wait.

Tris appears with her hands up, no one with her. "I'm alone."

We lower our guns slowly. "Are you armed?," Sarah asked Meg.

"No," Tris says.

"Shall I search her?," Sarah asked.

"Yes," I say.

Sarah searches Tris's pockets. "She's clean and she's not bugged and there's no tracker."

I smile at Tris. "Why are you here?"

"I came to join you," Tris says.

Tris and I go to Erudite while Sarah is sleeping. We get on the train and take off. We see Erudite and jump out. Tris puts her arms behind her back and I hold them firmly.

"Let me go!," Tris says.

"No. You're a threat and to be brought to Jeanine."

I don't let go. I bring Tris to Erudite and see Jeanine. She smiles at us.

"Hello," Jeanine says.

"I've brought a Divergent for you," I say.

"This way," Jeanine says, leading us to her office. I smile and Tris tries to hide hers. This is perfect, I think to myself.

We make it to Jeanine's office and I lock her door. She looks at me suspiciously. I smile evily.

She tries to get to the door but Tris and I grab her. We throw Jeanine against a wall. Tris points her gun at Jeanine.

"I got this, Tris." Tris steps back. I step closer to Jeanine slower, a smile spreading across my face.

Jeanine tries to run away and I shoot her in the leg. She can't run now. I shoot her in the other leg. She screams.

"Good bye, Jeanine. The government will be mine to run now," I say. I shoot Jeanine in the chest and she goes down.
