Mahogany Lox has a Sister?!

Chapter 23

*2 weeks later*

Violet:

It's 6:00. Do you know what that means? HELL. A.k.a school. I start 8th grade today and I'm not excited.

I'm nervous and nothing helps. Not even Hayes' pep talks. Mahogany's pep talks help but my nervousness comes back.

I get out of my warm, comfy bed and get ready. For my first day outfit I chose a red crop top and some jeans.

I have a lot of phone cases so I chose my all red case and changed it. Then, I went to my bathroom and decided to straighten out my hair.

I heard a buzz from my phone and it's a text message from Hayes.

'Good morning beautiful. I hope you have a good day at school and I'll call when school is over. I love you.' 

He's the sweetest. He makes me feel like that monkey that's covering his eyes emoji. When I finished straightening my hair, I applied only a small amount of make up.

Just some eyeliner, mascara, and lipgloss. After that, I grab a couple of rings and my shoes. My backpack is black with a small pocket and it has small studs on it.

I'm really not that hungry in the mornings so I'll just grab a granola bar.

"Bye mom, bye Mahogany!" I say reaching the door. "Hold it right there!" My mom yells. I freeze and turn around. "Let Mahogany take you to school!" My mom suggests.

I look at Mahogany and she's smiling. I shrug my shoulders and Mahogany squeals. I go to the garage and into Mahogany's car. She gets in and starts to drive.

Let the horrible day begin.

But anyways, I'm so sorry that this chapter was so short but I haven't updated in a while so I decided that today would be a good time.

I just wanted to let you guys know that you are beautiful and don't let anyone else tell you different because I see beauty in every person. Even the weird kids at school. So, I love you all so friggin much. ❤️
