Chapter 3

Katie's POV

"Katie we need to talk" I nod my head as Liam begins talking "I'm your legal guardian" I nod my head in agreement

We talked for a little bit more before Liam said goodnight and I went up to bed.

Next day:

"wakey wakey" I turned over so my back was facing who ever was trying to wake me up. I opened my eyes and looked around "well good morning love" "morning Harry" "come downstairs I made breakfast" "ill be down in 5 minutes Chef Harry" he laughed and walked out of my room. I sighed and got up I changed out of my pajamas and threw on a pair of black leggings with a tank top, I then rummaged through my closet when I spotted a sweatshirt. I slipped on a pair of TOMS. Then I went into the bathroom I brushed out the snarls and put my hair up.

"Good morning!"

"morning Katie" Liam says coming over and hugging me I flinch in pain as his hand touches my bruises on my lower back. "you okay" "oh sorry. It's just I fell a couple days ago and hit my lower back on the stairs and it bruised" "Katie" he raises his eyebrow I duck my head and walk over to the table where Niall is eating pancakes 4 at a time. I finish my breakfast and bring my plates over to the sink. I set them in.

Liam's phone starts ringing. he answers, he walks out of the room. then re-enters "Katie" "yeah" "it's Jessa" I smile and grab the phone
"hello"

"oh good Katie!"

"what's wrong?"

"Tommy.."

"what the hell happened" I could feel Liam's eye's on me but could care less

"He fell and broke his head open" I was bawling my eyes out. "I have to go Katie. . do you think you can get over here. Ms. Mary is passed out and the other girl don't know what to do and"

"I'm coming"

I turned the phone off and handed it to Liam. the tears streamed down my face. "what's wrong love" Harry says holding me in his arms "I have to go" "what" "not for good It's Tommy he split his head open and Ms. Marry is passed out" "get in the car. I'll drive you" "thanks Liam"

we pull up to the home and I rush in. the paramedics showed up after me and took Tommy away. Luckily the paramedics could do stitches in the ambulance after 25 minutes tommy was all fixed up. I held him close to my chest he had fallen asleep. "thanks Liam" I cradled him a bit more before I handed him to Jessa. "that was nice of..." "Liam" "yeah that was nice of Liam to drive you here." "don't let the other girls know I was here" "don't worry I won't" Liam came back over he look pissed. "grab tommy's stuff we're bringing him home" "okay" I was super happy. I grabbed Tommy's blanket, Sippy cup, along with a book his bear and I found the extra car seat in the closet. I grabbed it all. I hooked tommy into the seat and buckled him up. "why'd you do it?" I ask Liam. "because I know you miss him, and I didn't want this to happen to him again." "Liam.. thanks" "your welcome Katie. do you still want to go shopping?" "yeah we can still go" "we have to get the other 3 but then we can go." I grabbed tommy from his car seat he was still asleep. I wrapped him in his blanket. I stepped in the house I slid off my shoes. I walk into the living room. Louis was the first to look up. I sit down. Tommy begins stirring he opens his eyes "shh" I soothe Tommy before he can start crying. "your really good with him" "thanks" I respond as I set tommy down on the floor he starts walking and soon enough he's climbing on the furniture. "you ready to go?" "yeah" I yell back. I grab tommy off the couch and run back out to the car and strap him in the car seat. We all load up into the SUV where Niall sits in the 3rd row.
