Chapter 31

Katie's Pov
The door opened and closed
"Katie, sorry I left yesterday. I had to help a family member out" Liam's voice says. "The lads told me the bad news, I have more bad news though" "Sophia and I we are no longer together. I asked her to marry me and she declined. But we are ok and we'll be grown up about this. So I need you to wake up. Please Katie. I need you"
I need you
It repeated in my head, even long after he left.

The door opened than was closed gently.
"Katie, you've got 12 days. Please wake up" the voice pleaded. "

Niall's pov
We sat in the waiting room, Perrie had picked up Tommy and brought him home. And us 5 we sat and say not saying anything at all. I suppose it's because we didn't know what to say. Liam told us that he had his cousin staying in the London house, but I haven't met her. I really haven't left the hospital since she was admitted.  "Boys that was Paul on the phone" Liam  says we all stare at him "he wanted to let us know that Katie's biological dad is coming here to talk with us and see Katie" we nodded our heads then went back to sitting idle.
I grabbed out my phone and went to the notes section I opened a new note;
When will you realize I love you, I'm begging you please wake up.
I stuffed my phone back in my pocket and pretended to sleep.

I had on my shoulder jostled me awake. "He's here" louis says. I stare at the man as he walked towards us. He was clad in a suit and carried a brief  case. He was one of those type of dads "Liam Payne?" He asks Liam stands up and politely shakes his hand "I'm Carter Davis, Katie's biological dad. Can I see her?" He asks "yeah of course" I reply a little sarcastically "you need to understand Katie's mom told me about my daughter only 3 years ago. She promised me she was in a forever home. But I did some research and I wish I was there for her, but I wasn't and I feel awful" I opened the door. Her pale skin even paler in the white room of the hospital. "She's very beautiful" he says. "I'll leave you two alone." I walked out and positioned myself out the door where I had left it open a crack.
"Katie. I'm sorry I haven't been around more. I just learned you existed a few years back. Your mom is amazing she's a fancy lawyer now. I'm sorry you went through all this though. You have to understand I was in my junior year of high school and had a hockey scholarship. I was only 16 she was 15. And she broke up with me, and switched schools. Your dad and the others they seem super nice. Please wake up... Katie please" he was pleading and so was I.

We stood around around her hospital room. And we prayed. We had nothing else to do.

3rd person
The lads all stood in the dreary hospital room looking at the body of Katie Lynn, as the machines breathed for her. Niall stood anxiously against the wall. He only wanted her to wake up he wanted to tell her something important. The other lads Also had stuff to tell her, but what Niall had to say was more important.
