Chapter 20

Nialls POV

The door slamming made me rush inside James was sitting on the floor his head between his legs his hair messed up from frustration, I set Tommy down with his toys running upstairs, "Katie it's Niall what's wrong?"

Katie's POV
"Katie it's Niall what's wrong?"
Let him in my voice screamed talk to him tell him what's going on he knew your secrets before anybody else knew about Tommy he'll understand "come in" I replied I forced a smile wiped away the mascara underneath my eyes "what's wrong" "nothing" your lying my conscious says DONT TELL HIM!! It screamed "James is beside himself downstairs and your telling me to not worry? To chill and let you and him figure it out? That's what you want, you hurt people that's all you do !! You break hearts you disappoint everyone. Have you ever realized that maybe your issues are because your self centered and after all I've done" he then walked out of the room. It was clear he didn't care, I pulled  up my sleeve they healed  from 2 years ago, I stopped when Tommy came he saved me. I stood up going into the bathroom I grabbed my razor pulling it across my arm the Red blood spilling out. My phone buzzed I looked down
Liam - hey so there's a change of plans after Nialls your going to Louis's then Here  than back to Harry so yeah
I texted back
Kat - okay
I bandaged up my wound pulling my shirt over it  and head downstairs there was a note on the table

Dearest Katie Lynn,
I brought James back to the airport, he told me nothing... About why you 2 are fighting so when your ready to tell the truth you let me know

There wasn't even a sorry not a ' I wasn't thinking..' NOTHING!!! I ripped up the paper throwing it in the trash bin. I pulled on my coat walking out. I needed to escape. Tommy would be fine. They promised not to hurt me to love me but they're just like the rest. I sat down in a park bench a few people strolled by but only one caught my attention. There was something so familiar about him. I had yet to pinpoint it but the way he walked, and his dark hair.

Liam's POV

My brain was giving up as I had spent 5 hours deciding wether or not I should propose to her. I wanted to show her we could do this together I mean come on we are doing great. Sophia and I  planned on a nice stroll and then dinner where I'd pop the question. The ring box slid into my pocket as I adjusted my shirt. It's now or never.

Louis's POV
I had most recently been staying with ally in her apartment but she was packing up her bags. She leaves in 2 days for Harvard university in the states. I'd miss her. Life would be different but today I was going to see my sisters. I walked into the house. The smell was inviting and the house was warm but the atmosphere was cold " LOTTIE TOMLINSON!!!!!!" She ran down The stairs her hair fell in her face her bag on her back she ran right past me. I Wanted to stop her, let her now  I'm back and I'm here for her.

Katie's POV

"Katie" my head bolted up as I looked around to see who called my name. "Katie is that you" there  was  the guy the one who looked so familiar. "Don't you remember me?" He questions " Evan!!" " yeah it's me. Katie Lynn where you go after you turned 12?" "Well to this family's house I was there in house maid nanny and cook. I raised 5 children before I got sent off to miss Mary's home. What about you Evan? Why you here??" "I live here? What about you did you get adopted?" I nodded my head I didn't want to talk about It didn't want to tell Evan I was a mum. Tell him I was raped and brutalized he saw enough of what happens to me.
Flashback:
My stitches from 2 days prior were ripped out as the man who took us in brutalized me. When he was the angriest he'd pull me behind closed doors he'd pull my shirt off as he justified his actions, and explained to me that I was a bad person.  I sat on the floor  my tears drying on my cheek the pain brutal. I lied to Evan though because at the  age of 11 he was my best friend. "I hate him" the anger on his face evident as the blonde haired blue eye boy of 12 paced the stained blue carpet where we were held captive. "shh Evan he'll hear you and he'll be mad" "so what!!" by now I stood up "we'll both be hurt more if he hears us don't you understand!!!!"  "Katie calm down we'll get out, someone will save us" "yeah I hope so" "don't hope Kat know" ***BOOM-BOOM***** the gun going off  then sirens. "they'll find us right?" "yeah" the door downstairs was broken down. Men shouted before someone came up to our door and broke it down. he grabbed his radio I found 2 kids in the upstairs" he says. he grabbed us reassuring that we'd be fine. Despite that term was foreign to the both of us. after a court hearing and our new social workers we were taken away from  each other, as we got sent to different homes, different people.
"You want to hang out"
"Yeah of course"
"Id love to meet who adopted you"
"He's away right now so it won't be possible"
"Oh!! I see"
"My house is just over there" he says pointing to the White House with green shudders "I just want to warn you of my little sister Harlow she's wild" "okay" I respond following Evan.

"Harlow get down here I want you to meet a friend of mine" Harlow bounded  down the stairs she approaches me before she gets wild look in her eyes "Katie Lynn no way!!!!" Evan glanced over at me "Harlow how do you know who this is?" "She was on the Telly she lives with my favorite band and her little brother Tommy what a cutie!!" She says as she continues hugging me "Harlow please excuse me and Katie" "your no fun!!" We walked out side " You didn't tell me!" "You never Asked" "you've always told me things  come on how could you not. I'm sorry Katie but I can't believe after what we want through you wouldn't care enough to tell me who your guardians are?" " I haven't always told you everything so Well bye forever than Evan" I say walking out. Stupid girl I mutter walking back to the house, but maybe it was for the better? I'll have to ponder that.
