chapter 5

"Katie I want to introduce you to the boy's hair stylist Lou Teasdale and her daughter Lux she's 2 same age as tommy" I say hi and let tommy go say hi to Lux. Of course he goes right up and hugs her catching the poor little one off guard. but soon hugs back. "aww they're in love" Lou says.

We all walk into the living room and I sit down between Harry and Niall. "you should've seen Tommy and Lux they were hugging they're totally in love" Lou says. Harry shoots up grabbing Lux who was wobbling over to me and Tommy. "Lux is not dating until she's 39" I crack up laughing. "no Katie I'm serious" I quiet my laughs.

"Katie we were going to go to the park with Lux do you want to come with Tommy" Lou asks. I reply yes, we load up into the car after transferring Tommy's seat into the other car. we pull out.

Tommy's seat was right next to Lux's I sat on the right of lux's seat, Lou drove and Sophia sat in the passenger seat and Perrie informed us she'd meet us at the park that she had to get something at the store. Sophia and Lou were discussing fashion and make up I think I wasn't particularly listening. I was more focused on Lux and Tommy's little conversation. I luv you" I couldn't help but smile. Tommy barely talked, so him talking to lux was a good thing.

"we're here" Lou grabbed Lux and put her in her buggy I grabbed tommy and set him on my hip. We walked over to the playground. I set Tommy in one of the baby swings and began pushing him in it.

After an hour at the park we decided to head home both Lux and Tommy fell asleep on the car ride home.

We walked through the doors with 2 very passed out children. I showed Lou up to my room where we layed the kids down to finish their naps.

I woke up the next morning my hair was all a stew. My blankets only half on me. Turning a bit I caught glimpse of my clock 6:45 no body in their right mind would get up this early on a cold December day. But I wasn't normal. You've probably noticed that. I got out of bed my legs already covered in goose bumps. I took a quick shower after getting out and getting dressed I walked down to the kitchen. I scrawled a quick note setting it on the fridge and another on the Telly making sure. Somehow one of the boys saw my note. I headed off. I opened the door letting the cold damp air ingulf me. I pulled my coat close to my body and walked down the street. I had seen a pathway from the car the day I moved here and now was the perfect time to go check it out. I arrived at the end of the trail. I jumped the few puddles that rested on the top of the stone path. My foot steps quietly crunching on the stone path. My mind was wondering. My thoughts a hurricane spinning out of control.

Niall's POV
I couldn't sleep but it was still early it was only 7:13 I decided after moving around for about 23 minutes I should just get up. I wandered downstairs in search of something to eat. I pulled open the fridge door but found nothing I closed the door and a slip of paper flew off landing on the floor. I bent over holding the note close to my eyes, because they were not adjusted yet to read.

I went out for a walk don't worry I'm wearing my coat and a hat. Be back by 8 see you then

I walked over to the couch.

Katie's POV
I was sitting on the stump where my mind was in a jumble. My notebook laid across my lap.
Words written only id understand but still I did not.

- why can't I just own up let out all my feelings and tell everyone I'm his mom

I closed up my pen and threw it back In my bag along with my note book I decided to look around I stumbled back to the path my mind again wondering

If you just gave up you wouldn't be here you wouldn't be stuck here. You wouldn't be a burden. You could one day stop your life but what would it matter despite what Niall said, I'm a waste of oxygen.

My thoughts soon interrupted when my body falls backwards. My head very close to the ground. A hand clasped mine and pulled me back up.
"Are you okay?"the person asks. I rub my eyes relieving my dizziness. I stare into the eyes they were a green with a tint of dark blue. I backed away trying best to avoid anything awkward.
"Are you okay miss" he ask again. I nod my head.
"I'm James. I've never see you before you must be new to the neighborhood" he asks his smile giving off a very kind person. "Yeah I'm new" "ahh very interesting. So I'll see you around ..." He paused obviously inquiring for my name once again. "It's Katie" I say walking the other way. "Hold up Katie your quite the fast walker. Let me walk you home" my heart was doing funny things, things it's never done before. For once this person standing in front of me was someone I could trust and I don't know why I did . "Yeah sure you can walk me home" the usual walk home was not a usual walk home it was far from it. We decided on a race when we were about 10 houses away from mine. We both decided to see who was faster. I ended up beating James, but only by 30 seconds. He walked me up and he was about to leave when I decided to make a risky move. "James you want to join me and my dad and my uncles for breakfast?" He nodded his head and I led him inside. I didn't think any one was up but it was the opposite everyone was up and were waiting patiently for breakfast. I walked in beckoning James to follow. I saw Tommy and he must have saw me too. "Mummy" he shouts standing in his chair. James looked very uncomfortable in the situation. "Everyone this is James, James this is my dad Liam my uncles Niall Louis Harry and Zayn. My dads girlfriend Sophia and my uncle Zayn's fiancé Perrie." They all waved and we pulled up seats to the table. We all gulped down our food before Liam excused myself and I from the table. I already knew what this was about; James. He pulled me into the game room. I sat down but he remained standing.

"Katie your too young to date" I stared up at Liam and just took in his words. "Liam I'm going to be 15 in just a matter of a few weeks im already a mom I think I can date a guy besides who ever said we were dating I met him when I went to for a walk I wanted to know him better furthermore I invited him over" I stood up and strode out. My new confidence taking over but soon crumbled. "Katie you listen to me and listen to me right now!" Liam's voice making me shutter. "Your not old enough to date and your not a mom you didn't raise Tommy you didn't give birth to him someone else did you need to face reality Katie." His yelling causing the other 4 boys to walk in as well as James and Tommy who waddled over to me. I picked him up and held him close. "You don't understand Liam I am tommys mum I gave birth to him im a rape victim a victim of mental and physical abuse by many people. This is my life except it or don't be in it. And I just met James we aren't dating" I knew they were all standing there but I mean they'd find out sooner or later. I rushed off cuddling Tommy close to me as I began sobbing. "Mummy how come li li so mean to you" "it's because he's hurt and confused"
