Chapter 8

Katie's POV
I could hear Liam crying from inside his room and with that and Sophia running out crying I was practically dying not knowing what was going on. I was sitting on the couch when Louis came in apple in hand. He smiled. "What's wrong Kat?" He asks I just look away I don't know what was wrong I mean my dad is upstairs crying his eyes out and.... The weight of everyone knowing I'm tommys mom and then my stupid girl hormones. He must've noticed my absence of speech and began talking again hyperniss was etched in his face "today is December 12th in 12 more days it'll be my birthday I'll be 24 he says proudly and then the next day is Christmas it's exciting" he says as he runs out of the living room then my birthday January 2nd I'd be 15. Ugh!!!!!

Another 15 minutes passed and Tommy was playing with blocks in the living room I walked up stairs I knocked on Liam's door. A sharp "come in" was heard and I walked in. Liam faced the other way staring out his window which was a view of the pool and the backyard. I sighed sitting down next to Liam. I pulled him over to me but he wouldn't budge so I moved in towards him. My head resting on his shoulder my arms wrapped around his waist. "I loved her" I immediately knew who he was talking about; Sophia. I didn't exactly know what to say I mean he's my dad having relationship issues and I've never been in a boyfriend girlfriend relationship. "She left, she got up and walked out the door and I didn't stop her I didn't say I love you. I didn't get to kiss her one last time. It doesn't matter." I absorbed Liam's words letting them sink in. I leaned in close and kissed him in the cheek hugging him tight. He began hugging back. "Kat do you forgive me?" He asks "yeah I was never mad at you. I was more scared you'd hate me but I see you don't and it's the best thing ever" he sighed "she'll probably never comeback" "Liam" "yeah" "have you seen the way she looks at you? Do you notice her smile when your with her her eyes glisten like a calm sea on a peaceful night. Liam your her anchor now she's drifting in the open sea, just as broken as you right now but here's the thing you both love each other too much to give up. She'll come back" he just sighed again than turning his head staring at me "when did you become so smart?" I just shrug my shoulders. "Shi- shoot" he corrects himself and I just laugh because laughing cures everything. "What's wrong li-li?" I ask "I forgot to enroll you in school" I just shrug my shoulders. I've never really gone to school I know basic stuff that the big kids in my life I can write and read and talk proper I can do simple math "do you want a tutor? Who comes here and on tour with us?" He asks "Liam if I have to go to school I guess it would be ok if I had to go to real school. But only if I go to the school where James's goes?" I question knowing I was being pathetic but you know what? I want to get to know James better. He just nods his head in defeat."you like him" he asks nudging me I just shake my head but my cheeks were all rosy and I knew it.

I walked outside and headed towards the path I was thinking about everything that happened, hoping My words to Liam would come true. She'd come back right? She has to Liam loves her.

Sophia's POV
I showed up at my apartment it was 2 hours from Liam's apartment which was nice I pulled out my phone trying to figure out what was going on between us. I just ran I never let him explain maybe he'd be okay with being a dad. I looked down  at my stomach I had a little bump but I was only 5 weeks, yeah I hid this for awhile trying to figure it out and all that's been going on. Goodness!!! I let my  hand sit on the top of my stomach as I moved over so I was laying on the couch. My head rested on the gray and white chevron pillow complimenting my white leather couches nicely. My eyes wandered down to my phone pulling it out I saw the many calls all from the same number same name; Liam Payne.
He has called 98 times texted me 89 times this boy, he just won't give up. I scrolled through the text messages.

Please call me or text me - Liam

I love you - Liam

I still love you - Liam

Can we talk? - Liam

My heart broke reading every message I eventually even thought about texting him back telling him hey!! I'm okay and I'm sorry I love you too but I couldn't he'd leave me in the long run. I couldn't expect him to give up his dreams for me.  I threw my phone to the gray chair on the other side of the room, it landed with a gentle thud. I sighed I've been doing a lot of that. My phone buzzed numerous times but I blocked out the noise. I drifted off to sleep
Sophia look at our beautiful baby. I saw Liam standing there holding a baby all wrapped up he smiled at me and I smiled back. "Sophia smith do you give up all your parental rights to Liam Payne?" The judge questioned "yes I do" "case settled Liam janes Payne has full custody rights of his child" I watched him walk away with the child my child.
I woke up blinking numerous times before running to the bathroom throwing up. I thought back to my dream. I don't want that to happen. I love my baby and I love Liam maybe we should talk. Maybe he does love this baby? I walked over to my phone staring down at my phone quickly typing up

Hey ummmmm I'm willing to talk but I just want you to know you don't have to feel guilty. Meet me tomorrow at 10  at the Starbucks near your house -Sophia
