Chapter 6

I was sobbing into my pillows. Tommy had left the room a while back. I didn't want to go downstairs but I couldn't hide up here either so... After 10 minutes of contemplating I had made up my mind. I'd go downstairs. I tip toed down the stairs. I had just about fallen when a familiar voice spoke up
"You realize she was afraid of this. Scared you'd hate her just because she's a mum it doesn't change anything about her she's still Katie. She's our beautiful Katie." It was Niall standing up for me. I sat down on the stairs my head resting on my knees.
"Niall I know you think what Katie did was acceptable but it's not she was rude and disrespectful. I don't know at this moment why you adore her like you do but grow up because what she did was very unacceptable" Liam was speaking it broke my heart. I heard some noise before Louis was standing over me. His hand stretched out i grabbed on and stood up.
"Lou are you mad at me?" I asked
"No Katie we could never be mad at you Liam just wished you had told him first, that's all. He's not going to hurt you I promise you that I won't let him." I just nodded my head. "I'm meeting an old friend today from Doncaster you want to come with me" Louis asked "yeah sure" I ran to my room fixing my hair. It needed to look good.
"You ready to go?" Lou asked "yup I'm ready"

****2 and a half hours later ***

Lou hadn't mentioned her name despite my constant bugging.

Lou opened the door and we walked up to the house. He knocked several times before a girl about 22 I'd say obviously near Louis's age. Louis talked with the girl for what seemed like ever and I just sat there. Lou seemed really close to this girl Ally she had curly brown hair her blue eyes sparkling whenever Lou talked. It was love. Just like the love between Liam and Sophia.

"Kat you ready?"
He had taken me out of my thoughts of Allie
"What time to go?"
"No Kat we're going to get some lunch" I nodded my head standing up. Louis decided on this local family owned eatery. Both were talking about all this stuff obviously catching up.
"So your Liam's adopted daughter?" I just nod my head fiddling with my plate of food. My mind wondering to Liam and everything that had happened.

Liam's POV

Lou and Kat just took off. No one knows where they went I had called Lou multiple times but his phone was off directing me straight to his voice mail. Sophia after hearing about everything this morning had decided to take Perrie and Tommy out. Zayn was doing some shopping, Niall was doing what he does best eating. Harry had a meeting with Simon so I was alone. I needed to get my mind off things. I headed upstairs going into my room. I always took a shower when I was stressed. After a nice hot shower I was now rummaging looking for some lotion for my hands. My hand thumbles  In the dark of the cabinet I grabbed the lotion bottle but a few other items came tumbling out along with it. I picked them up quickly putting them away when one package caught my eye. It was a pregnancy test box. How'd that get In Here?

I was sitting  In the kitchen the pregnancy test sitting on the counter, it had been opened but and the stick was gone but it was still something. I was waiting for Sophia to come home home. The door opened and I sprung out of my chair eager to know why there was a pregnancy test in my bathroom. Zayn stares back when he saw me  standing there.
"Dang it's only you" I mutter walking away.
"Are you waiting for someone?" He asks coming closer to me "yeah Sophia we have to talk" "about?" I don't what to start any false rumors so I nudged it off and put the pregnancy test away not wanting anyone to see it.

Sophia's POV

After the dispute this  morning and then Lou talking off with Katie. Perrie and I decided to take tommy out and have some time with him. It couldn't be to hard to be a mum right? I was wrong. At least after he spilled  his drink I had extra clothes In his bag. But when he decided to throw a fit in the store. I really wished I had Katie with me. I couldn't get him to stop crying. After I threatened to not to take him to the park as well as not let him have ice cream he finally stopped. I looked over at Perrie. "Never" I said and she laughed "you say that now but maybe down the road you and Liam after marriage will have kids little Liam jrs and Sophia jrs" I just laughed but my secret of being pregnant was eating me alive. I was scared Liam wouldn't want me he'd leave. Maybe if I left before he could find out. I'd be fine.
My mind was  made up I'd leave. Simple as that.

Louis's POV

I met ally when I was 5, she was my miracle you might say? I don't know. I had just turned 5. The next door neighbors had moved away 5 months ago , one day a moving van showed up and let's just say when I saw ally get out of her family's car I knew one thing and that's she and I would end up together. After several days I finally manned up and said hi to the girl now known as ally. She was a young energetic girl full of energy. We played together  almost everyday but they soon became distant. We bacame distant by the time she was 15 she had a boyfriend and a date to every dance I don't blame her she was the envy of every high school girl and every guy wanted to date her. Ally Jane swanz. We were still in touch though I mean why wouldn't we be we're best friends. After gong to audition for the x-factor we still talked and she was happy my singing career went so well but you see I'm gad it did because I don't know what I'd do without my best 4 friends ever but, I left ally behind and that broke my heart. I was in Love with her. Problem is she didn't feel the same.

After going to see ally and we want to lunch with Katie because well after our conversation with Liam this morning she needed to get out of the house. We were headed home unfortnetly. Worse than heading home was Katie she was pestering me the whole ride home if I liked her. How we met all that stuff. I just sighed knowing the next 2 hours were going to be very long.
