I was anxiously waiting by the door. I was starving, the pizza guy was ten minutes late, and my Mommom wasnt home to make me something. When the doorbell rang, i excitedly opened the door to see the shock of my life. My best friends, Chris and Gordie, were standing there. "Oh my god. What are you doing here? How did you find me?", i ask. I was embarrassed because i was definitely starting to show.
"Let us cone in and we'll explain", Chris said. I opened the door slightly so the boys could squeeze in. They sat down in the living room on the couch. I sat across from them. "Go on. Explain", i said. "We found out from Soda you moved about 2 months ago", Gordie said. I gave Chris a confused look. "Soda tracked down the treehouse to find me", Chris clarified.
"We also found out about your situation", Gordie pointed out. I crossed my arms over my stomach. "Anyways, your brother wouldnt tell Soda where you were, so he came to see if we knew where you were", Chris said. "We didnt know you left, so we went to Easton and asked him. He said your living in Illinois. We saved up our money so we could fly out here to see you. We looked through the phone books and found your address and number", Gordie finished.
"You guys are crazy", i said. "You got to come back Belle. Its not the same without you", Chris pleaded. "I cant. Im ugly and fat. After my 'situation' nothing will be the same", i said. "It doesnt matter to us if you have a baby. We will always stick by you", Gordie said. "Thats what friends are for", Chris smiled, but then frowned. "Im also a little worried about Soda. He is losing it without you. I really think it would be a good idea if you came home."
I sighed. "I cant. I wont. Its just not right", i said. "If your not coming back with us, you will be back after your 'situation' is over right?", Gordie asked hopefully. "I dont think so guys", i said. "Why not?", they yelled at the same time. "I cant face Soda. I can barely face my brother. I just cant do it", i said. "You can come stay with us. Belle we miss you alot. Teddy and Vern miss you too.
They would have come with us, but their parents wouldnt let them", Chris tried to reason. "I cant do that to you boys. Chris, you know i love ya, but you know your brother. He will torture me and the baby. Gordie i dont want to be a burden to you or your parents", i tried to explain. "But Belle..", they started. "Guys... i need you to understand. I cant come back. You guys are always welcome to visit but i cant come back. Please tell my brother i will miss him and Soda, i dont know what you should tell him. Just remember i love you guys", i said.
Chris sighed; Gordie groaned. They knew my mind was set. "Im gonna miss... we are gonna miss you Belle. I really wish you would come back with us", Chris said. "Sorry", i said. The two went out the door; my pizza came.
