The next day, I was at work at my desk, looking at all of the pictures I had taken of Titanium and Mist-a-Swirl. I smiled looking at the one picture of Titanium where he was smiling. Chris tapped me on the shoulder and smiled.

"Do you have an idea for a title we can use for our article?"

I looked back at the Titanium picture and thought.

"Well... we could have this picture to show that Titanium isn't all secluded. And then these pictures, the ones where he's fighting, we could say that he's... awesome or something."

Chris smirked a little bit, which shocked me.

"Are you smirking? Where's that smile you always give everybody?"

The smirk turned into a smile, which made me smile myself.

"Quick to change it, huh?"

Chris chuckled. "Yeah. Can you get the pictures printed so we can get an outline for the paper?"

"Yeah, give me a second."

I stood up to get to my printer, which was on top of a shelf. I'm pretty tall, but it was kinda high up. I stood on a stool, but I still had to reach up. I put the SD card into the printer slot and began printing, when I forgot that I was high up and almost fell. I steadied myself, but a big stack of folder fell over, knocking me down and effectively tangling my arm up in the wires from various appliances that were high up.

I embraced myself for the fall when I realized I had stopped falling. I opened my eyes and saw Chris's brown eyes looking up at mine. In his other arm not holding me, he was holding the folders and the printer, scanner and microwave I had gotten tangled up in were back on the shelf, as if they had never fallen.

I looked at him incredulously, not believing my eyes. He set me down and gave me the folders, which I put back where I had them.

"Still gonna put them there even after they fell?"

I glared at him. "Yes."

I felt something fall on my head, so I looked up but nothing was there. I turned around and saw Chris picking up pieces of paper. He smiled at them.

"These are really good. It captures Titanium really well."

"Thanks, I guess. I'll be sure to tell Titanium he looks good in my pictures when I see him again."

"When?"

"Yeah. I don't know what it is, but ever since yesterday, I've been attracting unwanted attention from criminals."

Chris laughed.

"West! Hill! Where's the article?" Hanson yelled.

Chris began to stutter.

"Uh... we... uh... it's almost done..."

I put my hand on his arm and said, "I just printed the pictures, Chris is going to write the article today, and it'll be on your desk tomorrow. Promise."

Hanson looked at us unconvincingly and grunted.

"It had better."

When he walked away, Chris gripped my shoulders.

"I can't write an article that's good in one night! Why did you say that?"

I got out of his grip, patting his shoulder comfortably.

"Look at Chris, saying more than one tone. I think those two sentences are the most emotion filled I've ever heard come from your mouth."

Chris groaned and rolled his eyes. I sighed and slung an arm around his shoulder.
