Short chapter! I just had to get something up since I haven’t updated in a while. Just a small bump in the road.
So the evil villain isn’t dead. Isn’t that wonderful?
Hanson saw how shocked I was at the news so he sent me home immediately. Apparently a freaked out photographer was of no use to him.
It was ten at night last time I checked the clock… which was five seconds ago. Mist-a-Swirl being alive makes me jumpy. Ever since I got home, I’ve been checking the windows and doors, holding a bat the whole time.
I sat down on the couch and tried to relax, but I just kept bouncing my leg. I stood up and paced, then sat down again, bouncing my leg. I decided that I would check all of the windows doors one more time. I went to my room after checking all of downstairs. I almost fainted when I saw the balcony doors open and moving from the breeze. I heard a creak form the floorboards behind me and turned around, ready to hit whoever was there. I screamed when I saw Titanium walked in. My scream made him scream, so I screamed again. He put his hands up as if that would protect him from the bat and apologized profusely.
“What are you doing in my house? Did you break in? Aren’t you supposed to be enforcing the law and not breaking it?” I asked in one breath.
“Uh… I think the real question is, why are you holding a bat?”
I glared at him. “Do not get smart. I am freaking out about Mist-a-Swirl finding me! He didn’t die from the explosion.”
Titanium grabbed my shoulders and looked me in the eyes.
“Listen to me. He is behind bars. He wasn’t dead, no, but when I found him he may as well have been. He was badly cut and bruised. I found him in front of a supermarket and I took him to jail. You’re safe, okay?”
I nodded my head and sighed in relief. “I was about to go crazy.”
Titanium smiled reassuringly. “I’m the superhero; I wouldn’t let anything happen to you.”
“Now that, Mr. Superhero, sounds like you like me,” I said, smiling cheekily.
“And if I do?”
I shrugged. “Seems to be you should be less concerned with little ole me and more concerned with Seedy Heights.”
Titanium moved closer to me. “What if I want to be more concerned with little ole you?”
“I wouldn’t mind.”
Titanium smiled and moved his head closer to mine. But before his lips met mine, he stopped.
“You know, once we kiss, there’s no going back. I’ll keep visiting and-”
I cut him off with a kiss, then pulled away. “What does it matter? You’ve kissed me before anyway.”
Titanium smiled and pulled me back into the kiss.

Told ya it’d be a short chapter. So, um, I think that Titanium should look like the Green Lantern, but without the symbol on his chest and Batman type… headgear? Except without the ears.
Thanks for reading!
