Jess' POV*
I sat frustrated, on the corner of my bed. Taking occasionally glances at my iPad which was still displaying the horrible selfie of the "friend" that was with my boyfriend. I could only hope she wasn't taking advantage of him at the moment.
My fist slightly clenched then I felt my self jump as the iPad vibrated, with the tune of tri-tone. I scooted closer to the iPad enough to peered over the un- cracked screen.
I looked over to read the new message as it appeared as a banner at the top of my phone.
From:
Tailah😎
"So we still hanging out today?"
I mentally slapped my self for forgetting to reply to Tailah. I guess she texted me while I was conspiring about this new "friend" of Hayes. Thats the great part of having Tailah as a my bestfriend. Here to save me when my head is spoiling with unrealistic situations.
I took the iPad into my hands, resting it on my lap, and swiping to the left on the notification of the imessage.
I quickly reponded:
To:
Tailah😎"Yea, be at your house in 20, sorry for not replying sooner, it's just I got a very upsetting text from Hayes..."
I pressed the send button, and I just sat there. If Hayes was smart, he wouldn't cheat on me. Because The minute I was to find out, though it would break my heart, me and Hayes couldn't be together any longer. I sighed trying to dismiss my thoughts, and focused on getting ready to meet up with Tailah.
I walked to my closet and pondered on what to wear. I ended up grapping my black leggings along with my white crop top, that has the words written across my chest: 'Hayes' Girl' I smiled as I read over those words, as I remembered when he bought it for me.
I bent over, to reach my plain black and white converse. I grabbed a pair of black ankle length socks and put on my converse.
I slightly curled my hair; burning my fingers in the process. After I was done I just applied my normal amount of make up; mascara, eye liner and just a bit of concealer to hide a few pimples.
After I looked at myself in the mirror, I was ready. I packed a small bag; with extra clothes, and sleeping clothes. I grabbed my burgundy Teen Wolf hoodie, which had "Stilinski 24" on the back. Since it was was basically freezing outside. Damn winter.
Since we moved to North Carolina only about a year ago, I was still used to the Florida weather and I hated the cold.
It could be 63* degrees outside and I would be freezing and people in North Carolina would be out basically in nothing.
I opened my window, taking one last glance at my room. I sighed and just climbed down my ladder. Once I was on the ground I sprinted down the road. Almost getting to Tailah's house I stopped by one of my favorite places. Hayes' and I's favorite go to place.
The ice cream parlor. Through the slightly tinted windows I could see inside. I spotted Hayes ordering ice cream. With that girl.
He had his hands by his sides, but her's were wandering to his knees inching ever so close.Hayes soon realized this and grabbed her hand. He gave her a confused and angry glare. He then said something to her and started to yell at her. He stormed out of the ice cream parlor with her still standing her ground inside.
Once he saw me, I just turned around and started to walk in the opposite direction, acting as if I didn't see him.
He sped walked after me, quickly. I desperately tried to not 'notice' his presence, but he caught up to me quickly. He grabbed my by my waist and hoisted me up into his arms.
I struggles and squirmed, trying to get him to drop me.
"Baby.." He began. I fell limp in his arms, showing him my submission. Deciding to just listen to his story, I let him hold me.
He carried me to his apartment, which was surprisingly very close. He went inside, making sure Nash was still out and no one was in the apartment.
He carried me up the familiar stairs and sat me on his bed. I refused to look him in his baby blue orbs. He got on his knees and crawled between my thighs. His arms wrapping around my waist.
When i finally looked down at him, I almost broke down. He has small pools in his eyes. My hands went to cup his face. I pressed a kiss to his lips. He responded slowly but kissed back.
As we kissed my hands tangled in his soft brown locks.
I pulled back and just stared at him.
"You know.. Tailah is going to kill me for not meeting at her place." I whispered pecking his lips.
"I'm sure she won't be that mad..." Hates replied.
Anxiously waiting for him to actually start to explain his story, I just sit there. Laying my head on his shoulder, and my arms wrapped around his neck, while his still rested on my waist.
The silence was calm, reassuring, and comfortable, although I was still waiting for the words to start tumbling out.
"Mel, was one of my friends back in 6th grade." He began, breaking the silence.
I just stayed quiet, nuzzling my head further into his warm neck. I hummed in response, encouraging him to continue his story.
"She moved to New York after the year ending, we were sort of like best friends. We were close to the point that people always suspected us dating." He continued to talk, drawing light patterns onto my back.
"So, when she texted me that she was back, I couldn't help but want to meet up with her. But I guess she wasn't looking for my friendship." Hayes ended his little flash back. His eyes trying to find mine, to see the look that he feared.
But his fear wasn't there. I thought I was suppose to be mad at him. But I can't. He's being honest and I can't neglect that. I hummed and kissed his neck.
He let out a ragged, shaken breath out in relief. Hugging me tighter, and closer to his body.
"I love you so much, baby girl."
"Me too Haz"
