Chapter 2

Luke P.O.V

By this point I was drunk out of my mind. I had lost count of how many beers I had and Izzy was slowly turning into a fuzzy mess of black hair and too much eyeliner. 

"Are you feeling better baby?" She purred into my ear.

Shrugging slightly I mumbled back "I guess so." I reached for yet another beer but my hand was stopped.

"I bet I can make you feel better than any of this can" Izzy replied pointing towards the various bottles of beer. "I can make you feel so much better," and with that she was straddling my lap and leaving kisses along my jaw line and neck. 

And well, you can guess what happens next. After getting rid of the condom, Izzy ran to take a shower while I quickly got dressed and checked my phone. Scrolling through the lock screen I noticed several texts from my mom. The guilt hit me like a ton of bricks. But I couldn't go home like this. I would talk to her after I sobered up. 

After Izzy ran out of the shower I announced I'd be staying the night, she simply nodded her head in acceptance. Seeing as there was nothing to eat in her fridge, it was decided to order some pizza and spend the rest of the night trying to sober up. 

Kennedy P.O.V

This flight was never ending. Three seats back a baby had been wailing for hours and the little boy behind me was bashing on my seat with his legs. How wonderful. I only had to sit through 2 more hours. I could make it. It was only 2 hours. 

As I reached to place my headphones back over my head there was a huge commotion in the back of the plane. I whipped around to see if I could find what the problem was. After a few minutes of yelling, a body plopped down in the seat next to me. 

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience miss but this mans seat is being moved due to disruptions caused and this was the only open seat." Her voice laced with sympathy and facial expressions showing she wouldn't want to be sitting near him. 

"Oh it's alright I don't mind" I returned with a small smile. Fighting it was pointless and plus he was kinda cute. 

The flight attendant nodded her head and vanished to the other end of the plane. 

I turned to the stranger next to me. His dark brown eyes burning holes in mine. 

"Hey, um sorry about this, my plan wasn't to cause problems today." His Australian accent prominent in his statement. 

"No worried, I was getting a little lonely here anyway." I chuckled at myself, it was true. These long flights get lonely. 

"Well looks like you've just gained yourself some company." He shot me a killer smile and my heart melted. 

For the next 2 hours we made small talk. He told me he was returning from the states back to his home in Australia, I explained how I was part of an exchange program, how I was coming to study nursing. The only thing that never came up in conversation was our names. 

Before I knew it, we were on the ground was again. I stepped off the plane and took in all of the beauty of Australia. It was gorgeous here and I knew I was going to love it so much. 

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" I turned to see the boy from the plane standing beside me. 

"Yeah it's breathtaking" I said in awe. I couldn't believe this would be my home for the next year. 

"Just like you" My cheeks heated up from his statement, before I could answer he handed me a slip of paper with a seven digit number. 

"My name is Calum. Calum Hood. I'd love to see you again..." his face searched mine as he questioned me for my name. 

"Kennedy" 

"I'd love to see you again Kennedy, enjoy you're stay in Australia" He flashed his smile was again and with that was off to retrieve his luggage. 

I smiled and waved as he walked off. Calum's number was slipped into my backpack and I ran off to find my luggage and the family who is supposed to be picking me up.

Hope you guys are loving this! My other fanfiction "Cancer" is reaching 1.000 views and I am ensure if I should continue to write or not. I am very torn because I was really struggling with the story but you guys seem to be liking it. So let me know! And sorry this story is getting starting kind of slow but I have a lot planned! The smut will also be saved for later chapters.
