"Rhia Cmon!" My mom yelled up to me. I finished applying my lipstick and ran down stairs to see Kat, Ellen and Chad waiting for me.
"You can't be late for the first day of Eighth grade!" Ellen giggled.

"Bye sweetheart," my mom said handing me my lunch. I waved goodbye to her and ran outside and got on my bike like the others.
"This is it." Kat sighed, "our last horah.."
"We've still got high school!" Chad remarked as we rode out of my complex.
Kat slapped him with her left hand,
"I know mista J, It just won't be the same!" She yelled in her Harley accent. "Ellen giggled, "I still don't know what that is!" As we pulled up to the bike rack. All of our friends were waiting for us. I pulled off my helmet and fixed my grey beanie, and I dusted off my pastel orange skater skirt.
It was a surprisingly cool September morning, and all of my friends were laughing and smiling.
