Dan: It was in the evening and you had woken up because of the thunderstorm. You looked over to your side and saw a still sleeping Dan. You decided you would leave him sleep instead of waking him. You heard a rumbling of thunder which was followed by a blinding flash of lightning. You began to shake as my fear of thunderstorms began to kick in. Dan woke up still half asleep and looked over at your now shaking form. He was suddenly wide awake.
"Are you okay? Are afraid of thunderstorms?" Dan asked you.
"Yeah. I'm just being silly." You tell him.
"You're not being silly babe." Dan told you as another booming crash of thunder rang through your ears.
He suddenly wraps his arms around you and you rest your head in the crook of his neck and snuggle closer to him if that is even possible.
"I'll stay up with you until this storm passes, even if that is worth it as long as you are okay babe." Dan tells you as he kisses your cheek.
After an hour and a half the storm begins to die down. You turn to Dan and kiss him softly on the lips.
"Thanks Dan, for staying up with me." You tell him.
"No problem." He tells you.
He gives you one last kiss on the cheek before you both fall back into an undisturbed slumber.
Phil: You were awoken by a loud clap of thunder. You turn to see that Phil was awake as well. Neither of you were afraid of thunderstorms but this one was quite loud and had awoken both of you.
"Phil because we aren't going to be going to sleep fairly soon do you want to get a hot chocolate and watch the storm from indoors?" You asked Phil.
"Yeah. Hot chocolate, hot chocolate, hot chocolate." Phil chanted.
You and Phil both walked into the kitchen. You made the hot chocolates.
You gave Phil his hot chocolate.
"Thanks." Phil said to you.
You and Phil sat in front of the window watching as the rain pitter-pattered to the ground.
The rain was strangely hypnotic and relaxing and before you knew it both you and Phil had become overcome by sleep.
