Preference - How You Met

Dan: You were at a friends party but your friend had disappeared and you were left alone. You had noticed a cute brown haired guy who kept looking your way. Was he checking me out? He couldn't have been so many pretty girls in the room surely he wouldn't be looking at me. Once you looked over at him he suddenly looked away a pink blush creeping onto his cheeks. You noticed him walking closer to you and you began to panic because you had no idea what you would say to him. 

"Hey, I saw you from across the room and thought you seemed lonely so I wondered if you wanted some company. By company I mean me." He said to you. 

"That would be lovely, thank you. What's your name?" You asked him. 

"Dan. What's your name?" He asked you. 

"Y/N." You replied. 

"A beautiful name for a beautiful girl. Would you like to dance?" He asked. 

You nodded at him. You both walked to the dance floor and as you did a slow song began to play as if it was almost like fate itself had a part to play. You both began to dance to the song and you hit it off from there and needing up dating not long after. 

Phil: You were at a muse concert which had just finished. You were heading to the exit with everyone else when all of a sudden someone bumped into you causing you to fall onto the ground. You were afraid you'd be stampeded by the thousands of fans but to your surprise a pair of arms were wrapped around you picked up from the ground. You brushed yourself off before looking at who had helped you. He ran his hand through his black hair and smiled at you as you both walked out of the venue. 

"Thanks for saving me back there." You said to the handsome stranger. 

"No problem. What is the name of the beautiful damsel in distress I had the pleasure of saving?" He said to me. 

"Y/N, and what is the name of my knight in shining armour that saved me?" I said carrying on his joke from his last comment. 

"Phil. Sir Phil." He said laughing. 

"Do you want to maybe exchange numbers with me?" He asked awkwardly. 

"Yeah." You replied with excitement. 

You both exchanged numbers and had your first date a week later and have been going strong ever since.
