Dan: His one arm is under your neck/top half and his other arm is wrapped protectively around you keeping you close to him. He places his hand onto of yours and strokes it softly until you both fall asleep.
Phil: He lies on his back and you cuddle on his chest with your arm over his body. He plays with your hair and gently strokes your back until you both fall asleep.
