Preference - Your First Argument

Dan: Dan had been acting off with you for a while and you decided to confront him about it.

You walked into the living room where Dan was sat in his browsing position.

"Dan, why are you so distant?" You asked him.

"I um, might have made a mistake." Dan stated.

"What did you do?" You asked, cautiously awaiting the answer.

"Well you know when there was that massive youtubers party. Well I might have got a little drunk and let my ex kiss me. It meant nothing though and I am so, so sorry." Dan told you.

You felt the tears begin to flood from your eyes. You couldn't even look at him let alone be in the same room so you ran off to your room that you shared with Dan. You sat on the bed alone with your thoughts.

You had made your decision, now for the hard part, telling Dan. You didn't want to be anywhere near him for a little while.

You leave the room and walk into the living room and saw Dan with his head in his hands, sobbing.

"Dan, can I talk to you for a second?" He looked up at you as if to tell you to carry on.

"I have decided that since it was a one off and that you were so honest with me, I am going to give you a second chance but if you do anything like that I will not hesitate to collect all of my belongings and leave here. Understood?" You told Dan.

"Understood. Thank you so much for a second chance. I promise that I won't let you down." Dan said before he peppered you face with gentle kisses. If this was his way of sorry then you accept his apology.

Phil: "Bye babe. I'm not sure when I'll be back?" Phil said.

"Wait where are you going." You said as you ran to the door.

"I'm going out with Dan to the cinema." Phil replied innocently.

"Am I not good enough?" You asked him.

"Pardon?" Phil replied.

"Am I not good enough? We never go out anywhere and if you go out anywhere it is always with Dan. Do you have a secret thing between you two because if do just tell me and I'll get out of your life." You told Phil as a tear slipped from you eye and slid down your cheek.

"You are more than enough. You are everything that I want and more. I am so sorry that you feel that way babe. There is nothing going on between me and Dan, we have a strictly platonic relationship and nothing more. I never want you out of my life. I love you more than anything in the world. I'm going to cancel going out with Dan and just you and me will go out and have dinner." Phil said.

"If you want you can go with Dan." You said.

"No. I have decided that I want to take my special girlfriend out on a date. You go and get ready whilst I'll cancel my plans with Dan." Phil told you.

You and Phil then had an enjoyable dinner and you were both happy that you two had resolved the problem that had arose.
