NEXT DAY Have you ever felt the need to rip your head off just to massage the pain out and sew it back on? Because that's me right now.
I woke up to weird noises in the kitchen. My first thought was an intruder so I grabbed the bat from under my bed and Lev's pocket knife and crept toward the sound.
Let's just say, I wasn't the only scared one. Me and the "intruder" ended up screaming at each other, well I screamed and Vanessa swore loudly. She had to give Carmen a 20 after that.
After the shock, we went to the gym then at home she made me get ready while she got breakfast ready, she's so sweet. And now here I am, I'm wearing a white long sleeve tight shirt that i kinda ruffled up to make it cropped with wide denim jeans and a beige i think faux trench coat, i paired it with white white new balance sneakers.
While Vanessa puts my hair in cornrows and two buns, her, Carmen and I share a massive plate of pancakes with sauce on top, scrambled eggs and hash browns and a huge bowl of fruit on the side with cranberry juice and painkillers for me obviously. I keep taking pictures of my food and hairstyle cause I love both so much.
"You look beautiful, beautiful," Vanessa says, her voice warm and soft. I choose this day starter over anything, well, after Lev's morning voice which is my favourite. But we don't talk abt him rn. Why is he even in my mind? I have decided to forget abt him because it wasn't that deep, we weren't dating therefore he could do whatever he wanted. I thank Vanessa pulling her into a tight bear hug,
"So," Vanessa starts casually, twirling one of the roses Lev has been sending me. He started the day after the failed date. I don't wanna admit it but every time I see it, my heart kind of flutters.

"How's our opp? Is he the one who sent these?" I nod looking down, she catches that as a hint not to push for more details which im thankful for.
"Im gonna go to work now, in my car?" I say dangling my keys in front of her, her face lights up with a proud look warming my heart. It makes it so much more worth it.
"Bye. Will I see you tonight?" I ask feathering kisses all over Carmen's face to which she giggles.
"Yes! Come home early so we can spend time together okay?" I nod, giving her another hug and a kiss same for Carmen before grabbing my bag and heading out. Sliding into my car, I start the engine and drive off.

⚬⚬⚬ If you'd told me the first thing I'd see when I got here was a driveway stuffed with cars, I would've laughed and told you to knock on wood cause why tf did you jinx it? Now I have nowhere to park.
Ahmed and the crew are finally back! I've missed them. I pull them all into tight hugs happy and thankful to God they came out in one piece before heading inside.
