Nixie:

As much as I hated this, I was in the library with Louis. He begged me to come with him and I just couldn't say no. He's trying to find some book he saw online but wasn't able to purchase online so he read that it was available at this bookstore. And clearly he didn't want to come alone.

"Can we go now?" I asked while pulling on his jacket.

He scratched the back of his neck.

"No, Nixie, and we have to stay quiet" he whispered.

He moved to another shelf and I stood there with the silence. I'm not a loud person but I do hate quiet rooms. I followed Louis into the next aisle.

"What are you looking for? What's the name of the book?" I asked him.

One of the librarians walked over to me.

"Excuse me, could you lower your voice please? We have people trying to work and read in peace and you're certainly not helping!" she whisper-yelled just as loud as I was talking.

"Look who's talking!" I shouted while glaring at her.

The woman gave me a death glare and so did some of the people in the library. I pushed past her and walked out of there before I punched her in the face. I stepped out of the library and Louis joined me.

"What happened in there?" he asked while grabbing my hand.

"It's nothing really, can we just go home?" I asked while changing the subject.

"No, not until you tell me why you wanted to get out of there so fast" he said.

"I just don't like being in a quiet room. You could call it a phobia, I don't know. I've never asked anyone about it. It just makes me feel uncomfortable, that's all" I said while looking down.

Louis turned my face up to look at him. He pressed his lips to mine and then pulled away.

"If you felt like that, you should've just said it. I could have just come at another time. Seriously Nixie, you need to tell me these things" he said.

"Okay, I'm sorry" I apologized.

"Let's go home" he said while grabbing my hand and placing a kiss on my cheek.

I nodded and we got back in the car.
