Midnight memories 20

Nixie: 

I finished applying my make up when Louis burst into the room. 

"Ready?" he asked.  

I turned around and his jaw dropped to the floor. 

"You look...stunning" he said while smiling.  

"Thanks. You look very handsome" I smiled back.  

He grabbed my hand and kissed me before we stepped out to the limo waiting for us.

I'm not an expert on the red carpet and this is definitely my first time on one, but I'm handling it like a pro. Louis held my hand while the paparazzi snapped some more pictures. I guess it comes with the gift of taking selfies. 

"I have a joke" Louis whispered towards me. 

"Not now, we're in front of cameras" I said with a smile. 

He pouted and I turned to look at him. 

"Fine" I said. 

"What's hotter than this red carpet?" he asked with a cheeky grin. 

"What?" I asked him curiously. 

"All of this" he said while pointing at himself.  

I started laughing and then he joined me. I'm pretty sure the paparazzi snapped some pictures of us laughing together because I saw a couple of flashes. We held hands and  stepped inside while Louis waved towards the fans and paparazzi. 

We went to the front row where we found Danielle and Liam. 

"Hey" I greeted them.  

Danielle smiled and hugged me. 

"What did we miss?" Louis asked. 

"Nothing. It hasn't even started yet" Liam told him while we took our seats. 

I looked around and I saw a lot of famous people. Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Beyonce, Josh Hutcherson, Jessie J, Demi Lovato, Becky G, Chris Brown and if I keep telling you all the names now, I will never finish. I took a deep breath and tried not to freak out. This is literally a dream come true. 

I elbowed Danielle and she looked over to the direction where I was looking. Demi Lovato was talking to Bruno Mars, both of them laughing at something. She was wearing a black and blue dress which looked so beautiful on her. She also had a hat on and her hair was styled perfectly.

I love Demi Lovato.  

I looked at Danielle and she smiled. 

"This is going to be an interesting night" she said.  

"So, how's it going with Liam?" I asked her. 

Might as well make conversation while the show starts. 

"It's going great. He's very caring and overprotective. What about you and Louis?" she asked me, her voice a little bit stuffy as if she was getting sick.  

"We're great. We're like best friends, siblings, boyfriend and girlfriend, like all at the same time. He understands me and he also makes me laugh" I said while smiling.  

"You know we're right here girls" Louis called out, catching our attention. 

We turned around to face them. 

"Stay in your business nosey much" Danielle scolded them, making me laugh. 

They both chuckled and went to their own conversation.

All the girls and boys were already here. The award show started a few minutes ago.

"Actor in the leading role...Eddie Redmayne for The Theory of Everything" the woman on the stage called out with a million dollar smile. I've seen her in movies but I don't really remember her name right now. 

Everyone clapped while turning around. A guy around his thirties got up with a big smile on his face. He stepped on the stage and received his award. He said a few words and went back to his seat. 

"Actress in a leading row...Julianne Moore for Still Alice" the woman called out. 

Everyone cheered and clapped again. I looked back to see Julianne Moore getting up from her seat. She looked very beautiful like always. Even in her age, she still looks absolutely stunning.  

After Julianne received her award, she gave her speech and sat back down. 

"Animated feature film....Big Hero 6. Don Hall, Chris Williams, and Roy Conli" the woman on stage called out again.  

I love that movie. Everyone started clapping. The three men stepped on stage and talked for a bit, thanking their fans and their family members. 

"Thank you so much everybody for nominating our movie Big Hero 6. This means a lot" said the youngest one. 

"Favorite pop band....One Direction" said the woman while looking straight at us. 

The camera turned to us and the boys smiled while stepping on stage. We all clapped and my eyes lit up as they boys stepped onto the stage, looking very handsome. 

"Thank you for nominating us as the favorite pop band. We love you all. Thank you" Zayn said while they received the award.
