Lydia: OPEN UR DOOR RIGHTF NOw
Lydia: JORDAN
Lydia: joRD An
Lydia: WE HAVE SO MUCH TO TALK ABOUT
Me: Hi?
Lydia: DONT HI ME
Lydia: OPEN THE DOOR IM OUTSIDE
Me: Wait what
Me: Why r u here?
Lydia: Bc i couldnt find u after the game
Lydia: now stop texting me and open the damn door
I follow Lydia's request and head downstairs. Aunt Julia sits at the dinner table, working on some of her paperwork. She's been pretty busy with work this week and so has uncle Jim.
"Jordan there's someone who's just standing outside and I'm too scared to gosee who it is." Aunt Julia says
I hop down the last couple of steps. "Don't worry. It's just Lydia."
"Wheres Nick by the way? Haven't seen hi here in a while." She suddenly asks.
"He'a been busy with stuff." I tell her.
I run off pas the dining room, hoping she doesn't ask me anymore questionsMy phone vibrates in my hand and I look do to see another message from Lydia.
Lydia: did u just forget im in front of ur door OR
I hurry towards the front door, opening it revealing an impatient Lydia. She's wearing a t-shirt dress similar to the one she wore earlier today except it's purple and shorter. Her hairs up high bun and her makeup is a little bit overdone, but still pretty.
"You look nice." I tell Lydia,
She eyes me up and down before rolling her eyes. "Yeah well you don't."
I look down at my sweats and oversized tee. "Am I suppose to look nice inside my house?
"No. You need to wear something nice for the party later."
"I'm not going. I told you I'd only go to that game."
"Well that was before Drew ki-" I leap in front of her to cover her mouth.
"shhh! My aunt is home." I mutter. "Come upstairs"
I hurry up the stairs, guiding her to my room. Lydia doesn't often come to my house. She only does when it's really important or she extremely bored. I usher for her to enter, shutting the door as soon as she does.
"I still cannot believe Drew kissed you!" She squeals.
"I can't either." I mutter shyly.
"What's it like kissing him? Is he a good kisser? Does he use his tongue?!"
"Lydia!"
"What? I'm just asking.." She smirks.
My head still couldn't wrap around the fact that he did that after the game. I didn't want to admit it but I found it extremely cute. It was almost dream-like.
But is it bad if I say I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would? Yes it was a cute thing to do and I can't deny the fact that he was a good kisser. But I was hoping for something special. As cliche as it sounds, I wanted there to be a spark. I wanted to be swept off my feet.
