I Could Never Forget Us

Chapter 7

--- Addy's POV ---

It started to get late and most guests had started to leave the wedding to get home, even May had disappeared off with Harry to pack for their Honeymoon the next day. Jack and I spent the evening happily with Rian and Cassadee drinking at a table in the corner so I was a little tipsy when it was suggested that we should head home. 

'I'll just tell Alex we're leaving' Jack announced

We all nodded and watched him stumble through the carefully arranged tables over to where Alex was sitting with a group of girls centered around Kelsey.

'I think I'm going to have to drive you all home' Rian sighed

'But you've been drinking' Cassadee giggled

'No I had a glass of champagne three hours ago which is a lot less than you three' he shook his head

'I'm fine' she pouted

'Cass you've spent the last half hour singing the first two lines of Don't Stop Believing' Rian rolled his eyes

'I just really like that song' she exclaimed 'Don't you Addy?'

'I love it those two lines are my favourite for sure' I agreed

'See she understands' Cassadee pointed at me

'And she is just as drunk as you' Rian looked at me 'If not more'

I was about to protest when Jack appeared beside me, holding onto the table for support.

'Alex is going with Kelsey so we can go' Jack told us

'Come on' Rian helped Cassadee stand up and walk towards the door

'Need a hand?' Jack asked

'Why thank you kind sir' I grinned up at him

He took my hand and pulled me up wobbling slightly but staying upright, I wrapped an arm around his waist and he put his around my shoulders. We held each other up and followed Rian and Cassadee out to the car. 

'You two in the back' Rian pointed to the back of the van

Jack and I clambered into the back and fiddled with the seat belts until they were fastened. When Rian was happy that we were all safe he started the engine and drove us back to their house. 

'Can I trust you two to get into the house by yourself?' Rian turned to us

'Of course' I giggled

'We're not kids' Jack added

'You are when you're drunk' Rian mumbled

We got out of the car and left Rian to help Cassadee as we skipped up the driveway up to the front door where Jack spent a couple of minutes trying to aim the key at the lock. In the end it took both of us holding the key to get it in and turn it so the door would open.

'Look it's only 2am' I pointed at the clock on the living room wall 'We should've stayed longer'

'It's all Rian's fault' Jack complained

'What have I done now?' Rian walked in

'Made us leave early' I replied

'It's 2am!' he frowned

'The night is still young' I sang

'Tonight we are young' Cassadee broke out into song

'So let's set the world on fire' I joined in

'We can burn brighter than the sun' we belted out the next lines together

'Okay stop' Rian groaned
