POV change...lets see how this goes
And I've never been to NY so I'm making shit up....the features, the stores, pretty much everything except for the square..well...

The younger of the couple steps onto the busy, crowded sidewalk, taking in his surroundings. His eyes widen with every new sight. In front him, across the street, he can see a line of buildings, stores, cafes, billboards, and lights. On one billboard, there's an ad being featured about texting and driving. His eyes move down to a cafe and settles on an older couple, hand in hand, smiling wider than the sea.
Turning around, he sees a beautiful hotel, red and white and black based colors, along with a silver revolving door. The windows are rather large, and on the inside he can see a patch of bright red hair, nodding up and down, as if agreeing. Taking his attention off the hair, he glances around yet again.
This time he notices the decorations on some of the buildings; black and orange and gold tinsel, small plastic pumpkins dangling from doorknobs of coffee shops and restaurants, leafy wreaths with splashes of orange, red, yellow, and brown coloring, interesting leaf and fall flower bouquets in window sills.
Even the air smells, crisp and nice, despite all the fumes from buses and cars, and everything in between. Everyone seems to have a little happiness to them as they stroll carelessly down the streets and sidewalks.
Frank jumps a little as he hears a taxi blasting its horn through the traffic. He calms down and uses this time to take in people's appearances.
Most have on regular everyday clothes, such as jeans or a skirt with tights, and even sees some girls wearing shorts with tights underneath. Some are wearing a light sweater, some a simple long sleeved shirt, some wearing a hoodie, much like him, and some in regular tee shirts, facing the rather chilly weather like a boss.
He stumbles forward as someone pushes into him. He doesn't get extremely angry at first. I mean, this is New York.
"Crap, sorry kid." He looks up to see a blonde haired girl, maybe in her early twenties, holding a cup from Starbucks.
"It's alright." Frank replies, smiling at the young lady.
"You're clearly not from here, are you?" She asks.
"No, I'm originally from Jersey. I'm here on vacation for a bit." He proceeds to tell her.
"Oh, that's cool. Anyways, sorry about running in to you. And thank you for being polite about it. As for your time here? You're gonna love it, kid. There's so much to do, so much to see. You'll have the time of your life. I've got a meeting in 20, so I gotta run. Have fun, kid!" She says, patting Frank's back gently as she walks off, soon blending into the crowd.
Gerard comes out a few seconds later, looking somewhat flustered. "Everything ok?" Frank asks the red head.
"Yeah. But man, people are hard to negotiate with, especially when you're dressed like its already Halloween in your mind. The people in there were a bit classy, too classy for me, but they were somewhat ok. The worker at the front desk wasn't the greatest, though. He was gonna charge me ten bucks extra, and he didn't say why. The manager happened too walk out in the heat of everything and yelled at the worker. We got everything taken care of, though. And we even got 20%, taken off." Gerard tells Frank, grabbing the cases from the now opened trunk.
"That's cool. How long are we staying here?"
Gerard huffs as he sets a black bag on the sidewalk. "The whole week. But we are leaving Saturday morning to go where ever it is that we end up."
Frank grabs a case, following Gerard into the hotel. "Woah..." He says, setting down the bag as he steps inside.
It's huge. There's an elevator down the main part of the hotel, along with few rooms lining the first floor. There's the front desk, angeled in a corner, and many people shuffling around, trying to haul their bags with them. Some are getting help from workers, others, such as Gee and Frank, are dealing with their own, seeing as they have three or less bags.
Getting in the elevator, Gee presses the '3' button. Leaning against each other, the two ride in silence as the elevator clanks, dinging, signaling that its time to get off.
They walk down a hallway then Gerard stops in front of a room marked '333.' Sliding the key in, the door eases open, revealing the room.
It has one bed, great, along with a huge window, allowing the occupants to see the bustling going on below them. There's a bathroom, a coffee maker, a decent sized mirror, and a little basket with coffee and hot chocolate mixes along with little breakfast takes.
Throwing the bags down, Gerard lifts Frank up, plopping onto the bed, Frank laying on top of him.
"Well, our adventure starts soon." Gerard says, smiling, moving the hair out if Frank's eyes.
"And so it does." Frank says. He leans down, kissing his boyfriend. "I'm gonna go take a shower." He says, crawling off Gerard.
"Ok, I'll be here." Gerard says, kissing Frank's hand.
Frank smiles before walking over to bag, pulling out pair of sweats and one of Gee's shirts before getting in the shower.
Gerard lays back on the bed, finding the remote, clicking on the TV. Turning to random channel, he decides to take his sketchpad out and draw a little something for Frank.
