"I didn't know this was a stick!" CC said, sounding excited when he saw the little stick shift I was using.

"Yeah, well it is."

"Didn't peg you for a Shi-" Ashley began but go interrupted.

"I wouldn't finish that sentence if I were you." Arielle popped her head in the car as she gave the warning.

"Holy mother-"

"Don't finish that sentence either. If your going to cuss, use flying cow." Arielle said.

"Why?" CC asked.

"Because it brings back bad memories." I said in a tight voice.

"What memories?"

"None of your business!" I snapped, quickly shifting gears and speeding up.

"Jayden, mind slowing down?"

"Nope." I shifted gears again and went faster.

"Jayden! Slow down!" Arielle yelled at me.

"No!" I screamed. I started jerking my hands, as if trying to escape from someone.

"JAYDEN!" Someone yelled. I froze, tears starting to roll down my face. I blinked, trying to clear my eyes. Once I focused, I saw that we were facing a semi. I yanked the wheel to the side, stepped on the clutch and shifted to a lower gear. I gained control of the car and kept going. I shifted again and eventually slowed down.

"I'm sorry." I sniffed, trying not to cry. "I- I don't do well with yelling."

"Are you okay?" Someone whispered.

"Fine." I continued on driving, ignoring everyone else.

I pulled up to Apple Bees.
"Get out." I whispered.

"No, what's going on!" Jake demanded, the guys nodded in agreement.

"Arielle," I said and she looked at me. "Order my usual, I'll be right back." She nodded, jumped out of the bed, Jinxx following suite, and she eventually coaxed the others but Andy out.

"Come on, Andy. Let's go inside." Arielle said.

"No, let him stay." I said. Arielle looked at me weird.

"Are you sure?" I nodded and she nodded and lead the others inside after getting what Andy wanted to order. I quickly shifted and pulled out of the parking lot before I changed my mind. I drove to a little park, where I parked and turned off my truck.

After a little while of awkward silence I broke it. "I know you must have a gazillion of questions flying threw your head." I turned my head to see Andy nod. "But I can only answer them once and one at a time."

"Wait! What do you mean?" He asked as he turned to look me in the eye.

"I'm going to do something I haven't done since I met Arielle."

"Go on. And just so you know, you don't have to do this."

I nodded and started my story.
"It started a few years back. I was having the greatest day of my life, my crush had just asked me to prom." I said and the flash back started.

*Flashback*

I was walking down the hallway of my school, when I came to the gym doors. I got a note saying to meet someone there. I opened the door and gasped at what I saw. Danté (dawn-teh) was standing there with a sign asking me to prom, some sort of pop music was playing in the background.
