"How about you and I go on a date tonight?" Andy whispered into my ear. We were sitting on the couch, side-by-side, his arm wrapped around me and my head leaning against his chest.
"Where are we going?" I asked and looked up at him.
"It's a surprise." He winked. "But we are going to need your truck."
"Okay?"
"And dress comfy, like sweats and a big sweatshirt."
"Alright... Can I know why?"
"It's a surprise."
"Andy!" I whined.
"No, I'm not telling." He shut his mouth and looked away, almost innocently.
"B-bu-but Andy!"
"Nope."
"Butt-hole" I whispered and looked away.
"Hey! That hurt!"
"Good!"
"Jayden!" Ashley exclaimed. "That is not how you talk to your boyfriend!"
"No, but it's how you talk to yours!"
"Burn!!" We heard Jake yell from the kitchen. I started laughing. I guess my laugh was funny because Andy started cracking up. We both ended up on the floor, clapping our hands together and doing that retarded seal laugh.
"Jayden!" CC came running down the stairs, holding my phone above his head. "It's Jessie, she said she needed to talk to you ASAP!" He handed me my phone once I stood up.
"Hello?" I said.
"J-Jayden?" I heard her sniffle.
"Where are you? What happened? Are you okay?" I started firing questions left and right.
"Can you meet me on Silver Road?"
"Yeah, of course. I'm on my way." She hung up and I grabbed my shoes from the closet by the front door. "I'll be right back." I grabbed my keys off of the table.
"Where are you going?" Andy asked.
"Silver Road. I gotta go. Bye!" I kissed him on the cheek and ran out. I got in my truck and peeled out of the drive way. I quickly got to Silver Road and spotted Jessie standing by an old building, two duffle bags by her side, she was cuddling a stuffed bear, and tears were running down her face. I pulled up next to her and got out. "Jessie? Are you okay? What happened?" I asked as I pulled her into a hug.
"C-can I-I stay at y-your pl-place?" She asked, signs of crying noticeable.
"Of course! Com'n." I let go of her and grabbed her bags. I placed them in the bed and got in the drivers seat and took off.
"Thank you." I heard Jessie whisper right before I pulled into the driveway. I parked and turned to her.
"Can I know why you were crying and why you want to stay with us?" I asked and grabbed her hands.
"Th-they kicked me out." My face turned into one of understanding.
"Stay here as long as you like." I whispered and pulled her in for an awkward hug over the console. After awhile, she pulled away and unbuckled. We got out and I grabbed her bags. I led her to the door and opened it.
